Does Connor Williams have the frame to get bigger and stronger?

After giving it more thought, I'm in the camp that Williams should continue to start at LG and Collins should stay at RT. I do, however, think a position swap should be considered in the offseason. Connor has great feet and a fantastic kick, if he can add the bulk, I think he could be an allpro RT.

Obviously you didnt. You prefer to make up the reason so you can bash it because its easier for someone like you to do this than to actually bash the actual reason.
I'd say nice try but i'm in an honest mood and it wasn't. It was lazy and weak. You should be ashamed.
So what exactly did you mean by this?
He is..
But I see young man who actually shaves his legs and arms. A young guy who has people taking pics of him at the beach.. I have to wonder if he really wants to become one of the big uglies that you need to become to play OG at this level.
Basically, you said b/c he shaves his body that he doesn't have the personality to be an OG. Which is dumb.

Am I missing something?

This isnt that complicated. The guy is lean and lacks strength to square up and beat professional DT's. He may be a young guy who may not want to gain the amount of size needed to hold down his 6'5" frame. The reason the beach pictures and body hair may have some relevance is because we are not talking about him gaining 5 pounds and it making a difference. He may need to get strong and fat. The kind of fat that isnt too pretty to look at. I know if i am a 21 year old guy who played tackle my whole life and i were told i need to transform my body into the ugliest version of myself to play Guard I may be looking for a tackle position. You can say its stupid or whatever you want but there are a few signs that Connor Williams may not want to become a big ugly Guard. The hair shaving is just a sign of vanity. You can pretend it isnt but it absolutely is. So its not that unreasonable to wonder if this guy really has the desire to get bigger because bigger is ugly.

He knew he would be playing Guard coming into this season. It doesnt look like he beefed up over the last few months to get ready for facing these DT's.

This guy carries great pain from what he went through as a child over his weight and speech.

Williams wrote a long essay posted on NFL.com about growing up overweight and with a harsh speech impediment that made him the target of bullies.
“Honestly, I don’t know how I could have accomplished what I have so far without your teasing, without your isolation, without your rumor-mongering, your harassment, your beatings, your constant torment,” wrote Williams, who has declared for the NFL draft a year before his senior season.

Williams’ large size as a kid was another point of attack from classmates.

“You made me feel like I wasn’t somebody I wanted to be. Looking in the mirror, I wasn’t proud of what I saw. I didn’t like being fat,” he said.

does he have the frame to get bigger and stronger or is he nearly physically maxed out?

the team wanted to start him, but we all know he is weak and needs a year in the weight room.
my only concern is if the year in the weight room going to do it.
NEEDS A YEAR IN WEIGHT ROOM TO GET STRONGER AND BIGGER SHOULDN.T START WHAT THE HELL THEY THINKING

The first part is legitimate. He is lean.

The second part is completely ridiculous and is making a claim about the future of an NFL player based on his BODY HAIR. It's one of the worst takes I've ever read, even for the internet.

This is actually a good point because Williams is already a gym guy. I don't see ton of increased weight but I think he can improve strength that might involve Vitamin S.

What claim was made about his NFL future again?
You dont have to agree and I really don't care. My concern is for a real reason. Its clear you come here completely not able to understand the body hair comment and now that i had to walk you by your hand to show you how it ties back to his comments about not wanting to be fat..you cover your eyes, hold your breath, and mumble something i already proved was wrong.

Let me simplify it for a simpleton once again.

C Williams wrote in his own words an open letter outlining how his childhood was rough and how much pain it caused him to be fat. So is it crazy to worry that he may not want to walk around as a fat man again? Is it so far out there that asking him to bulk up may not be the same as asking a person who is happy to be fat to add more weight?
I don't want to get you all defensive over your bathroom grooming habits again.

Your claiming that he might not be a good guard b/c of how he wants to look. The letter thing, combined with the hair thing, is ********. I get it, it's just stupid. You don't have to be fat and hairy to be strong lol. That's ridiculous logic, and the idea that him not wanting to be ugly has ANYTHING to do with being a good football player is just as much of a reach.

I'm hairy as a grizzly bear, so I'm not defensive.
