Dak is having the last laugh. He doesn’t care if he wins a Super Bowl because he got paid. Had he taken a very team friendly deal a Super Bowl would mean much more.

Dak will never win a SB under the mismanagement of the worst GM in football. You all need to stop spreading misinformation and baseless dreams passed off as reality. Dak might as well get paid for his time and wasted career.

If Dak actually has any regrets for taking his overly generous contract, he wouldn't have fought for it nearly as doggedly as he did to start with. I'm highly confident that he's very content with his dough.

I don't think he's the laughing stock of the league he has done what many players have done put generational wealth and his family first just like his mentor Jerry Jones.

Some players just don't really care about a Super bowl that much.

A few players like Tom Brady live for it play for it and it's the only thing that matters will even lose their family and their marriage for the opportunity to win another one.
In today's NFL these players are few and far between and they don't come to the Dallas Cowboys.

Today's players are schooled by their agents and no the window of opportunity is very short and can be slammed shut by injury at any time that said they get the most that they can get in the short period of time that is their playing career.
Guys like Tom Brady and Patrick mahomes are the exception not the rule being able to win Super bowls and create the wealth by having a long playing career.

DAk is just doing what is best for him and his family in the long run and our owner is facilitating the process because he too is about making money not winning a Super bowl
Super bowls are just feel good moments for the fans and at this point for the fans of other franchises not this one

He’s neither Brady nor Mahomes..

Throughout his career, he’s had way more than enough talent to win..

The stiff-legged choking piece of crap would have been sent to the bench a long time ago if he were on a team that actually cared about winning. He might have already been out of the league by now. Well, he would at least have been a professional backup by now, but Jerry the "football guy" knows more than anybody. Training jason garrett at coach was legendary... innovator for life.

Also, Dak has always said he wasn’t taking a hometown discount. He’s always been that way. When there were issues with the contract negotiations stalling, his boys were crying foul on Twitter and he was playing the SOB story of his mental health in interviews.

He’s just maximized his opportunity for cash, because of the idiot in charge.

We’ve been saying it for years. There will come a time this roster “will fail him” and the excuses for Dak will start recycling again. It was Dez, then no WRs, then losing this or that Offensive linemen, Amari stopping on routes, Linehan, Moore, Mike Nolan, Dan Quinn, two years ago CeeDee Lamb. pollard, Zeke no longer being able demand stacked boxes 90% of the time.. I still haven’t gotten to the defense yet.

That’s just crazy to say he’s a backup. I wasn’t comparing them but the OP said they took less to help team. Mahomes got the largest contract in history so he didn’t take less. Brady got the largest contract when he played and only took less after he played out his record contract. Neither took a discount to help the team

And neither should have. They elevated players around them. You can’t put enough talent around Dak to win a couple playoff games much less a SB. Again…Dak compares to neither in any way, shape or form. I stand by my statement….He’s a backup who fell into the right situation. Serious question, how many Dak jerseys do you own?

Poor Jerry would have built a Superbowl powerhouse if it wasn't for Dak's contract... that Jerry signed him too... after messing around for a year when he could have signed him for half of what he got... then did the same with Lamb the next year... Poor Jerry.
