Does Deuce Vaughn Even Make 2025?

We got Williams, Luepke and Vaughn as of now, right?
Maybe some RBs on futures?

Dallas will take another RB in the draft, IMO.
so we got at least 4 backs going into training camp, and probably some UDFAs.

All depends on if Schott and Adams can figure out a role for Deuce. I don't think MM had any creativity as the HC/OC
Malik Davis is one of those guys that made the futures team I don't know how or why or what that is but he is on this team I believe

Deuce being drafted by the organization his Father works for is a great story but unfortunately the NFL isn't college, it's a totally different game and because of his small stature, his game just doesn't work in the NFL unfortunately..
Not really, the dudes-built rock solid, he may be short but he's thick he's muscular he does play like a running back , he's just not every down back...

I think maybe you have it mixed up because if they can utilize Turpin more and the coaches just don't know how to do that, or the ones that were here did not the problem here is it's hard to find a spot for two dudes that do the same things ,but his size does not hold him back, we've seen it with Turpin, Turpins smaller, the dude's tough as nails.

They both are returners ,they both play out more of slot motion ,and need plays in open space, and outside the box, and it's going to be difficult to find that in two players on the same team..

I'm hoping the experiment finally ends. Maybe it was MxCarthy, maybe Deuce just doesn't have the skills to be an NFL back in spite if his height.

Would another team pick him up? Or would we be the only ones to have him on our non-practice squad roster?
Of course he makes the team. He is the best RB on the roster now that Dowdle is gone.

He would be picked up by the same team that picks up Trance.

Who cares. We have bigger things to worry about.

He isn't small he's short.
His listed weight is 176 lbs. Name 4 nfl caliber RB's at or less than that. The NFL average RB weight last season was 212 lbs. He is 25% under that average and a outlier. He actually weighs almost 20 pounds less than Sproles (who people want to, for some unknown reason, compare him to)

He is small.

And for the life of me I have no idea why this guy gets the love he does. I swear he is the Rico Gathers of running backs on this site.

It was a feel good marketing story. That lasted about 5 minutes.

Maybe the average starting power back, but you might be missing the point, that they're actually third down backs, scatbacks ,change of pace backs, you know those backs that you can bring in for a speciic play..

if Turpin can handle punt and kick returns and running it out of the backfield, out on the edges, at his size he takes a beating ,and still gets up and so does Vaughn.. you watch him get 5000 scrimmage yards in college against talent, like good talent, don't act like he didn't play well against some teams with real defenses... you know big guys they still have big defensive lines big linebackers, and the man was not injury prone.

But you're trying to tell us is that his size he went through three years of college with high production not a lot of injuries and that he couldn't find a niche role in this team? Not here somewhere else like somebody who actually could use a player like him properly..

So what you trying to tell me you just went average size yes of a normal every down back most of the ones that we considered power backs but not guys you can bring in and utilize as a weapon in a different manner again if Turpin can survive the NFL so can he..
that's the problem with Mike McCarthy, and you guys see this guy is like a normal running back, no he can't be you guys exactly like he was in college but there is quite a bit of backs in similar roles or players in similar roles at his size he could definitely be used...

I'm not saying he should make this team,

but I'm saying he's been misused just like a lot of our players on this team never really got going including Turpin on offense when we could have used weapons....

they're not creative enough to figure out how to use these guys.. I say he is big enough and his size is not what's holding him back, he'll have to beat out other guys to make this team if he does, I'm very confident they can find a role for him, if not OK.

not huge difference in Sproles 5'6 190 and vaughn 5'5 176 ...

Turps 5'9 152, a bean pole compared to the muscle Vaughn has, and yet he seems to be holding up on ST which can be violent and used in the run game in creative way.

That's the bigger problem here it's going to be hard for Vaughn to make this team with the additions we just made miles Sanders and Williams plus draft pick and the bigger issue is that he does a lot of the same things that Turpin does there's not really room on the same team for two similar guys I know one's called the wide receiver and one's called the running back but they're pretty similar players...

No serious NFL team would have even drafted Vaughn let alone waste a roster spot on him for 2 years

Yes, thats right, right now the Cowboys are an entertainment business not a serious NFL team

Is English not your first language?
He clearly asked for RBs

I want him to be cut just so the headline can be "Jerry Drops a Deuce".

They can re-sign him after that if they want.

Vaughn played very little last year and it was clear as day he was better than Zeke.

They just aren’t going to play the guy but he’d likely outproduce anyone on this roster given the same snaps share.
