He has already had surgery, he just needed more time for the knee to recover. Trying to play on it just aggravated the swelling.

you have a knee scoped and it still doesn't address the problem. you continue to have major swelling and can't play -- very often that means that knee is screwed and you need another, more serious approach to the knee.

Hodge is more than two months removed from this procedure and hasn't done squat. That's a terrible sign

The writing on the wall is obvious for Hodge. He's missed tons of practice and he's trying to learn a new position. He'll happily take a trip to IR to get paid for the year and get his knee fixed up right.

Dude, if you pay attention to how players respond after injury you'd see exactly what I'm seeing. Guys sometimes PLAY a week after getting scoped. Eight or nine weeks now and he's still missing time... that's an indication that something is wrong.

He's playing in the final PS game to see how the knee responds. If it doesn't respond well he's on to the IR.
