The Cowboys are 10-5 going into Washington and are in a win and you are in scenario and lose to Washington to finish 10-6 and out of the playoffs. Does Garret survive?

Can you fire Garrett at this point, no matter what happens the rest of the season? Isn't it a bit late in the day for Romo to be starting over? If we were going to change offenses with Romo, the time to do it was following the 2010 season.

By now, most people recognize Garrett was the wrong hire at that time. He was too green, and the Cowboys ended up wasting the prime years of the most prolific passer in Cowboys history.

Unfortunately, 2014 is too late to change.

I think it would be a calamity if after starting 6-1 the Cowboys miss the playoffs, especially after getting swept by a terrible Washington team, which is what happens in my scenario. It's obvious that Romo is in the twilight of his career. The offense has changed quite a bit since he first got here, so I don't think that is much of an issue. Teams can turn it around in a couple of years with the right direction.

8-8 or higher earns 5 year contract extension. The contract will be signed on the visionary troll's forehead in a ceremony at Jerry World.

You honestly see a 5 year extension if Garrett starts off 6-1 and ends up 8-8 again? You have a lot of nerve calling people trolls, hahahaha.

Regardless if the Cowboys lose a must win game in week 17 finishing 10-6 almost assures Garrett's return. It would be the Cowboys best season under him signifying progress is being made giving Jerry a good reason to bring him back.

There are excuses Jerry will use to sign JG. Romos back all season, all efforts put into the O line and none on D,
Our best LB was out the entire season, can go on all night.

IF Garrett can draft a D line like the O line he's put together then maybe we should keep him, unless Jerry wants to pull the trigger and get someone more accomplished which he won't do. Jerry will see the Defense as the problem and Garrett will be excused from that failure. So, Jerry will give Garrett time to fix the D, which means a few more years of carrot top...........
