Does JuJo make the Pro Bowl in SF?

Just wanted to see where people stand on this.... Frank frickin Gore makes the Pro Bowl based on having a great season rushing 1500 yards with 2 games to go! Those are the #s JuJo said he would post and Boys fans are waiting for!

I wouldnt say Gore is better than JuJo... so it begs the question, why isnt JuJo in the Pro Bowl or better yet why isnt JuJo getting more yardage?

I dont think anyone would argue Gore has a better passing attack!

I dont think anyone would say Gore is a better athlete (he is a bisquit from being a LB) let alone runner!

is it the "2 back" system that gave JuJo 24 less carries than Gore? thats thin...

Maybe the LA fans have a point... we do need someone who can get movement at the point of attack unlike the overpaid backups we have who try to get in the way I mean pull and Block in space!!!

is it coaching? Norv has always been able to get RBs to the Pro Bowl so I guess Gore is a system back!

You may not say it, but I will....Frank Gore is better than JJ...Frank Gore is better than MBIII. I don't understand why guys have trouble recognizing that other teams have players better than some of ours...it doesn't make ours crumby.

But Frank Gore was a prime time first round pick before his horrendous injury...and he's come back huge...he has power, moves, and speed. Racking up those yards in SF is very impressive...I don't see an OL there that's scaring people.

Norv Turner has done a great job with their offense, both running and developing Alex Smith who looked like a bust last year and is having a very good year now.

I'd be happy if we hired Norv as head coach when BP leaves, but I doubt there's any chance of it...Norv is very good with young QB's.

Repeat: Gore is a great RB.

Um... Gore isn't splitting carries.

That always helps.

Agreed...Julius would easily have 1500 yards if he was the only back in Dallas.

Gore is a better back, but he has also benefitted from getting to play in that division and playing the packers. Hard to say hes WAY better than Julius based only on this season IMO.

Larry Johnson is better than Gore (better reciever/goalline runner)

Travis Henry is better than Gore (makes things happen behind what is certainly a worse line)

McCallister is better than Gore (splitting carries but he is)

I would make a case for Marion Barber and Tiki Barber but thats hard to tell.

Give me a break.

Larry Johnson and S. Alexander yes but that is about it. Gore is the real deal, his biggest issues injury concearns but he has been healthy most of the season. The dude is a beast.

Julius (247) only has 23 less carries then Gore (270) but he has almost 500 less yards, its not even close.

The guy said "as of late".. and in that regard, he's right. While JJ averaged like 4.5 YPC before the switch to Romo (coincidentally or otherwise), it's been 3.7 since then. And thats aided a lot by the 77 yard run. But for that one play it would be like 3.2 YPC.

Nope.

And JJ hasnt averaged 3.8 or less in EVERY game over the last 9 either.

It's only been that way in 8 of them.

I think Gore is a better back than JJ no question more carries, less caries, whatever we want to look at. You can also look at the weapons he has around him as opposed to JJ who should be benefiting from the WR's and TE we have. Gore aint winning any academic scholarships, but he is a better running back.
