Does O-Tree get the nod for next week?

So you think the lack of Ogletree being on the field is why we lost today?

Ok fine.

Why're you so against playing him? It's not like someone would have to be cut for him to be active. I'd like to see him in the slot myself on a few plays.

I don't get why ppl are so opposed to this...we have nothing to lose against a weak team. (KC) If you don't see that Romo is always looking out wide but doesn't see any open options then you need to pay attention. None of our WRs have given him confidence that he can depend on them. MA is a glaring example on the pick.

Even if OT was the best WR on the team, Phillips doesnt have the stones to make a move like that.

If RW can't go next week does the O-Tree makes his name known? At this point the offense needs to do something different because we had 4 weeks of inconsistency and at least we would know what he brings to this team.

Isn't he the best route runner we have? It's painfully obvious that none of the WRs are folling anyone with their route running.
It depends on two conditions.

1. One of the four primary receivers (Roy Williams, Patrick Crayton, Miles Austin & Sam Hurd) is unable to suit up.

2. Phillips and Garrett believe that they cannot utilize both Jason Witten and Martellus Bennett well-enough to compensate for the loss of one of the aforementioned wide receivers.

This is the reality which everyone, including fans, will either deal or not deal with. Some will realize that they have zero control of the situation. Others will not.

Recommence ruing.

I'm starting to believe we need a change at WR. WE NEED SOME SPEED OUT THERE.

Austin has speed but its all straight-line speed. EVERY good team has at least one guy that is shifty, that can stop on a dime and switch directions, make plays after the catch by breaking arm tackles or flat out outrun a guy, or even shake someone out of their shoes...we dont have that guy, and we need it.

Eagles - jackson, maclin, curtis
giants - smith
vikings - berrian, harvin
packers - jennings, driver
bears - hester, knox
saints - henderson, even reggie bush
broncos - royal
texans - johnson
lions - johnson
steelers - holmes, wallace
bengals - ochocinco
ravens - mason
patriots - moss, welker
jets - cotchery

our guys are all slow laterally...

How many plays did RJ run with Bennett split out wide or Witten? I can only recall one and Bennett picked up the first down. For all the talk about Bennett and how explosive he's supposed to be I always see him doing more blocking than releasing down the seam or into the flats.

Everyone is just tired of seeing our current WRs do nothing and O-Tree is worth a shot at this point.

Who is keeping track of the "Ogletree Saviour" threads?

Seriously, the people hyping Ogeltree now are probably the same ones who though Austin could replace TO.
eh there really isn't a lot of options at this point.

Yea it was mentioned a few days ago and the shrills came out and blasted him. Sorry had to use that word.

Your opinion is noted.

Everyone's opinion is noted.

Now, in your opinion, will Phillips--not you or anyone else--activate Ogletree?

Olgetree is so good he beat our Hurd and Austin, who aren't performing....

Oh. Wait.

Olgetree aint saving ****.

We couldn't find a better back up than BJ and Holland couldn't beat proctor and Carp is still on the roster at some point you gotta look at the coaching staff and just wonder.

we could have randy moss and larry fitzgerald out there, if you're offensive coordinator is as predictable as ours is they won't get open.

At this point in time I think fatty doesn't do it. But he's shown us that he's always a step late on making decisions.

Surely, you have a reason for why "fatty" will not activate Ogletree, yes..?

incompetence...but for real it probably is JG's call to give O-Tree the chance anyways. I just want to see him in action so I can see that this team exhuasted all their options.

Next week should be the week if we do.

You're far from being the only person who wants to see Ogletree on the field. The question is whether you and anyone else understand that Phillips or Garrett will not activate Ogletree simply because you or they want to see him play.
