Why?....

Because KC isn't all that good and do not really have a return threat on special teams. I say that because Hurd is a good special teamer and we should be able to cover for him if he is inactive. Having Jason Williams back helps out on ST a lot.

If Ogletree can contribute, it will be beneficial if he plays. That's my opinion. It's one shared by others.

The real question remains. Why will Phillips (a.k.a. head coach who activates the players for games) activate Ogletree if both his primary receivers and tight ends are healthy enough to play?

Agreed. It's just a fans opinion and we have no real say. But with the way our WRs have performed thus far, I think he deserves it. He played pretty well in the preseason.

He probably does deserve it, but the coaches will only activate certain players and Ogletree hasn't done enough to overcome what both the primary wide receivers and tight ends represent in their eyes to elevate him. Just my two cents.

Yes, that is the question posed. I'm still interested in what criteria will Phillips base his decision upon? "Ogletree's good preseason showing?" I doubt it, but we'll see.
