Does Phil Mafah give King Henry vibes?

I picture you rolling on the floor laughing at how easy it is for you to set people off who can’t understand sarcasm. It’s kinda like fishing for you. Just drop a line and wait for a nibble.
he isn't tricking me. I'm on to that rascal's evil plans.

Sorry. Mafah does not have Derrick Henry’s speed. He’s a big guy who will be fun to watch in TC and PS games. But expecting him to be the next Derrick Henry is a huge stretch.

The thing you have to be careful with about college film highlights is there are often plays shown against guys who would never be close to NFL caliber players. Not knocking Mafah, but he was a 7th round pick for several reasons.
While I agree with your assessment ,

please don't bring up where they're picked in the draft...

We saw guys like Kurt Warner and Tony Romo just a few undrafted players don't even get a bother to be drafted put up Hall of Fame type careers or great careers..

we've seen guys like Brock Purdy who's a starter now tom Brady in the 6th round come on can we not use where they're drafted as a barometer of their possible achievements in the NFL ,because the NFL gets it wrong, teams get it wrong, a lot are you trying to tell me that Sanders you're OK with him being tagged as a where did he go?5th?

I don't mind somebody give me a real assessment of a player,

but don't use their draft area because I've seen first overall picks be horrible it's not where you're drafted it's how you end up playing... so sometimes a player like this does slip through and you got guys like Deron Bland that went in the 5th...

I mean we can do this all day i've seen top five players just be total busts and I've seen guys who were not supposed to be anything the Hall of Famers.

I got a good one for you the guy's name is Terrell Davis, literally changed John Elways career legacy, and he was a sixth round running back .hmm.

So again,

I get why you said let's stop the madness with the Derek Henry vibe, but that doesn't mean this guy won't be good right now I look at this guy as Rico his floor is Rico and if Rico could do what he did now you have blue backing him up...

that's not a bad thing to find a guy late in the draft that slipped because of how deep the draft was in my opinion blue was a 3rd rounder in any draft that wasn't this deep...

So, where the running backs slipped down to really doesn't label them as they're possible talent level is where they were picked, I would have to disagree with that...

But my initial thought after the videos, and I got blowback, but it's weird because I've seen a couple people on Twitter agree with me now, that he looks like a possible legarette blount.. That is my ceiling for this guy ,that's who I see his potential could be with his body style his running style he looks very similar to blount.. IMHO

at worse a Rico ,at best a Blount?? ill take that.

I have literally never seen a more delusional off season on this site.
It's not any less delusional than people who are always negative but yes this was a little bit of a stretch for sure but don't fit us in that hole we're all delusional you're pizzing hole all fans in here with only a few are doing that..

After being dehydrated on the verge of starvation and got nothing last offseason yes salt teens are going to taste like Ritz crackers bro.

Phil Mafah isn't a "shake and bake" type who is likely to impress one and all with his movement. He's far more likely to make impressions with his straight-ahead power and punishing style than anything else. He'll break tackles as a standard that he relies upon. Strong is surely what he is and that's most likely how he'll make the biggest impression on his opposition.

He'll routinely break more than his share of tackles once he gets past the initial wave of the opposition. Defenders will be seriously challenged to put him on the ground. He's mainly a power back and that's his main calling card. His excelleration isn't explosive but yet, he's still difficult to contain.

Let stay Cowboys, what you're describing is Marion Barber.. That wouldn't be bad 12 punch a Marion Barber type with a Jayden blue backing him up..
