Last year we went all defense, and we got the kind of players he wants, will he continue to have this power?? I know we need help on offense, I wonder who carries that power?????

1st round pick needs to be offensive or defensive line. I’m worried we’ll take another Taco to replace Gregory.

I think we draft on defense heavy again with OL and TE sprinkled in.

Yes, I would want DQ to have a lot of say on the defensive players he wants draft wise and FA wise.

Let him design this entire defense with only 1 ridiculous contract on it, DLaw. He can decide if it's worth keeping him at that price and how they will use him.

hope so.
helluva draft last year.
i do expect the offensive side of the ball to receive more attention...but it all depends on what the draft tide brings in.

I hope so, but with so many needs on offense I could easily see last years draft completely flipped from a defensive heavy draft to an offensive heavy draft. Feels like we need at least one O-lineman early, maybe two. Also couldn't hurt to grab a mid round RB, WR, or TE. Defense may be a focus on retaining the talent you have, grab a few low budget players via FA to play rotational roles, and a focus on developing what you've got.

Other than his players from ATL in FA, don't know if he influenced the players picked in the draft. Parsons was the fall back because they missed out on the CB's and odds are they are not any better against the run so Quinn is getting the same treatment that Moore is getting.

Yup! You can forget about that 320lb plus DT in the 1st round. Another backup FA converted 5tech from a 34!

I don't see why not. The FO has always leaned towards what their DC has wanted during the draft. They did it with Rob Ryan, Rod M and this draft was heavily influenced by what Quinn wanted in prospects.

will need 50/50 draft O/D this year but of course he gets some say..all coaches do

Of course he will influence our drafting. Atlanta always had big dude in the middle like Grady Jarret. I think one of those UGA DTs might be available in round 2. That would be a good start.

Never know how it'll fall but at 24 there's typically good value at LB and interior OL. Maybe OT.

Not sure how great a DE we will find there.

Also forcing positions is never a good idea.

Only position we should probably stay away from early is corner, as we have plenty of young ones.

We pick right around the area Jordan Davis DT UGA should go. He's 6'7 340 lbs. If we don't move up for Linderbaum , he might fall right into our laps.
Right! So like I said: we’ll already have our 300 to 305lb converted 5tech who was a backup on a 34 team. Seriously though, at 340 he never had a chance here!
