Does the league think Romo is a "WUSS"

Of course they think he's a wuss. 1. he's a cowboy. 2. He came out of nowhere are tore it up and he's a Cowboy. 3. the freakin' press seems compelled to use the noun "Pinky" instead of "finger on his throwing hand" and He's a Cowboy...........

If anyone thinks he's a wuss they need to look at all the hits he takes and gets up from. If a qb can't grip the ball or throw it correctly he doesn't need to be out there.
Would that apply to OL men who cant raise there arm above there head?

Folks are having their day jumping the Cowboys left & right. No shortage of material for that.

Hopefully we'll get this ship righted soon. It could be fun then.

I was listening to the musers this morning on the ticket & George was making fun of romo saying it as just a pinkie dude. Kind of calling him a wuss.

Do you guys think this is bad for romo's rep around the league and could be labeled at as a soft qb? Do you think coaches and players around the league think he's kind of a wuss not to go out and play after favre told him he could.

I dont think Romo is a wuss... but we have alot on this board.

I didn't realize that Brett Favre was also a medical doctor, had examined said pinkie and had issued his official diagnosis.

I am, apparently, out of touch.

Brett mispoke... he thought it was about him. :D

What gets me is it's NOT HIS PINKIE! He broke his hand! Specifically the bone that connects his wrist to his pinkie finger.

IMHO They say "pinkie" 'cause it makes him sound wussy.

You are wrong as usual about Romo. I bet you the defensive players that go up against him don't think he is overated.

Like I said , why don't you go root for your boy on the bench in Cleveland!

No wrong about Romo.... its a fact. Doesnt have Elite arm strength and has won nothing. I hope we win but doesn't change it. Not picking on the guy , its just my observation.

Just that us Cowboy fans overrate our players due to the homers in us. I dont and never will. I am a dire hard fan but a realist.

I could have swore last year that Giants D called him out for being overrated. I think it was Strahan that did.

Won nothing huh? I think every game in the NFL is something. Most people do, that is why everyone is upset at being 4-3 don't you think. There are not a lot of QB's that win consistently in this league. Same could be said about Marino I guess and I don't think anybody ever called him overated.

You have shown over and over that you like to bash Romo and your little Pro -Quinn message is very obvious.

By the way, Montana did not have elite arm strength either. It is not a prerequisite for being a great QB.

The big mouth Giants D called him overated huh after they finally beat him last year - yeah that is proof:laugh1:

I pull for ND yes.. and wish they would have picked Brady with that pick. He would have made this team better and would have pushed Tony instead of annointing him QB.

Montana won 4 rings and was a proven big game and playoff performer. Romo hasn't proved diddly yet. Marino had longevity and a presence. Hopefully Tony will play at a high level for awhile but I DOUBT that he will ever have the pocket presence of a Marino,Montana or hell even Troy. He is to much of a clown and so is the rest of his team.

This team is a direct reflection of their coach and 'leaders'. And this 'losing is no big deal' mentatlity is what will doom our team.

The only reason this team was 13-3 last year was because of Romo. They would by a .500 team at best without him.

You said players respect arm strength and I just gave you an example of a top QB without arm strength that players respect. Arm strength is just a physical ability, it has nothing to do with being a great QB. If you are a great QB then arm strength just makes it easier for you.

Wade is the excuse maker. Romo is just fed up with the overeacting of the media.

Quinn can't even win the QB battle on his own sorry team.

As soon as Romeo goes with Quinn... Anderson is done. Anderson just signed 25 million dollar deal for I believe three years so of course he has to play until Savage feels Quinn is ready.

Or at least until one of them gets a Staph infection;)

What really makes me scratch my head is he told Saragusa that if it were a playoff game he could play.

If he don't play this week than he has to play against the Giants.

If we go 0-2 these next 2 games than our playoff run starts against the Commanders and we have basically no room for error.

:bang2:

Yup, he says these positive things and then if you question whether he is

changing his mind or not the homers want to get allover you and call you

ridiculous. Bunch of biased Kool Aid drinkers. The whole league and every

other teams fans other than our own think he's a glamour boy. He's my

favorite player and I defend him but he doesn't help when he does this with

the media.

It really isn't difficult to understand what Romo is talking about. If it is a playoff game, it would be worth playing without the cast and risk a season ending injury that would require surgery. Not worth the risk if the doctors tell him he can be healed and back for the last 7 games.
