Does this classify as a big game?

That can't be right. Even if Dak played the Vikings every year he has been in the league, that would be 7 total games. And he obviously misses last year's Vikings game.
Cousins played with skins

These losers expect Dak to be Patrick and it just isn’t going to happen but we don’t need that

if he plays like he did yesterday this team is SB caliber

The out and out trolls may want him to be. A lot of us just want him to be the antithesis of Mahones and play more like Brady. Little risk, quick progressions, (maybe not get rid of the ball as quickly as Brady) and use the run first (granted KM may play a part in that).

Yes this was a big game. Winning one big game a season isn't something to write home about. Let's see them do it consistently and then maybe we have postseason hopes.

Wanna hear something funny........remember those saying Dak is a "one read" QB. Check out TP 68 yard TD......hell even Romo pointed out he was Dak's third option. It's silly a posters/fans to think any NFL HC is starting a QB that can only read one progression/option.

from the other side.......

You mean play like he did yesterday every week? I mean every single pass from the guy gets scrutinized in here

I think he does a lot of the things you mention just not all the time. How about the defense and the line be like they were yesterday every game?

I only saw 1 wounded duck yesterday from him out of 25 passes. He still needs to realize he can throw the ball away as well but otherwise great game by team and him

Yes, regardless of game situation unless it's late or we're way behind playing catch-up....but then again I doubt we win those games. With the Zeke/Tony combo we can play to Dak's strength of playing a dink and dunk game (not meant as a derogatory term), let him manage the game. which for me is his best asset (even playing the RPR to success for 16 yards).

We/Dak or more likely Moore starts making these dig in/slant plays, which allowed the Bears to come back to 5 points and derailed the GB game...... once things start going wrong we panic.

We've now got a variety of weapons on offense.

...statement win. This ran deep within the team. They know what's under that hood.

And it probably felt good for them to smash the Vikings the way that they did. Hopefully this gives them the confidence to smash the Giants on Thursday and start their collapse.

Are you asking us or ESPN /Fox Sports. The average fan yes it was a big game.
Sports media will say the Vikings were frauds.

Yup, and the usual suspects will hang by those words rather than admit that Dak played a BRILLIANT game.

Largest margin of victory onthe road in team history. Against an 8-1 team at that.

That's a pretty big deal considering this Defense was called frauds just a week ago

And considering the World Class players this team has had in the past, this was certainly a big game with an exceptionally large win. Well done to our team.

Yep. Great win against a tough team on the road. Run defense still worries me, a lot. 6.5 ypc for Cook. If they'd have stuck with the run game this may have been a lot closer. But our offense put up enough points to make them feel they had to abandon the run and that was the nail in their coffin.

Now let's see if they can continue to play this way the rest of the year.

They are always missing in action when we win. They run away when we win, but post everyday when we lose..... thats where the "Dak hatin cowards" label comes from.

There's also on other poster here that BARELY typed anything in the thread. He never said anything about positive about how Dak played when Dak was making plays. But as soon as Dak make a mistake, this certain person types until his finger bleeds.

He also likes to hide, but you can find him on the "Mountain". Another fraudulent poster who contradicts himself damn near weekly.

In fairness, Mountain did posta thread that was positive and included positive mentions about Dak.

I think we can just be happy with the win. My opinion with both Green Bay and Chicago games is the defense didn’t fold like a cheap suit and Minnesota abandoned the run and they didn’t

I also think minny losing the OL guy hurt them.

Spot on, but this fanbase goes bi-polar from game to game, without appreciating aspects, such as how we rack up vrs the opposition. They see 8-1 and base the result on that, rather than the fact that we measure up quite favorably with them (hence Vegas odds).

We won, in part, because we could establish the run early and even though the Vikes weakness is pass defense and get the lead. What happens when we dont get a big lead and the opposition are able to run against us (Titans/Eagles may show) and they stop our run game......though's are the issues that are still outstanding..... im sounding negative, but not meaning to be after such a good win, just acknowledging that EVERYTHING WENT TO PLAN

But as you say, that's for tomorrow.

It was a great game.
It was awesome to see.
But this game was a beat down of epic proportions.
And Dak played great. He does when the Cowboys are beating up on a weaker opponent, and Minny was weaker today. They are an outstanding team, but they had no answers for anything the Cowboys did today. They were outmatched everywhere.
The defense grabbed the momentum early, and Tony Pollard and Ezekiel Elliot ran roughshod over the Vikings. And Dak played well.
As I said, Dak plays well when the Cowboys have the momentum and are beating up on a team.
And this was one the NFL will notice.

You didn't view the Vikings as a "weaker opponent" when you made a thread about how Dak should be benched for Cooper Rush, in the case of the Cowboys losing to the Vikings and Giants with Dak as the QB. You clearly have an agenda now since you attached yourself to the Cooper Rush bandwagon. I bet you wouldn't have called them a "weak opponent" had the Cowboys beaten the Vikings with Cooper Rush, while scoring much less points on offense than they did with Dak.:rolleyes:
