Does this draft immediately make us closer to the eagles/commanders?

Guess you didn't watch him in the SB.. He averages about 30 snaps a game
Good teams seem to have a few players like that. Quality depth that can step in with little loss of production. These type of players can be had on the market for aggressive GM’s, or drafted in the lower rounds like Ojomo was. I wish we were more aggressive filling out our team with quality backups.
 
The short answer no. And NY had a great draft so we could be in a battle for 3rd place in division.

That doesn’t mean we had a bad draft. It was solid in some areas of need. But we are that far away from top teams.
Cowboys got better, but only maybe gained ground on the Giants, and only because the Giants were by far the worst team in the division. Giants have a longer way to go that the Cowboys, so even with a very good draft they're still in last place in the division.

Though Cowboys aren't that much better than the Giants, overall. If you don't factor in ownership, that is, just talking players & coaches....
