Does Wade get fired if we lose to KC?

It'll be interesting if we somehow blow this game to KC. I really don't know what to expect with this team week-to-week. Does Jerry seriously consider canning Wade if we lose to the winless Chiefs?

I look at the KC game as a win/win situation for the short term.

If we lose the game I think there is a glimmer of hope Wade gets canned.

If we win the game, we go into the BYE 3-2.

...wow, if we lose to KC I just don't know how he keeps his job...but it's Jerry's $$, not mine.

No, because none of the likely candidates would take over during the season, and hiring an interim coach - Garrett? Sherman?? Campo?? - would not solve this season's problems.

No worries, there's a thousand coaches in this forum ready to step in at a moments notice....except me.

I want the offensive coordinator job.

Great question...probably no but it made me think.

JJ has not made a midseason change before but since Son-oF-Bum is gone whatever the result of this season...and if we were to be embarressed Sun,maybe he might throw Jason into the fire in the bye week but seriusly doubt. it

But hey...just the thought of it kinda excites me. I look for us to win though.

I feel like if we lose to KC, something drastic has to be done to send a message to these players. They should be walking on eggshells if we lose to KC.

My question is does Wade not have job security for the rest of the season for the same reason Jim Zorn does (they both wear a lot of hats)? If you fire Wade, who is the defensive coordinator the rest of the way?

Good ?? And why it probably won't be done.
1st thought would be Campo.

I'm guessing Campo?

Maybe my tongue-in-cheek post last night that the road seems to be getting cleared for Dave Campo to return as our next head coach isn't so unlikely after all. :p:

No...we won't go there again long term...but if we did fire son-of-bum...Campo might take over both instead of Jason.

I wonder if Campo can manage a 5-11 record in 11 games at the helm?

I wouldn't mind if Garrett and Wade got canned, with Ray Sherman and Campo taking over respectively.

I think Wade gets canned at the end of this season's debacle, this is not a super bowl or playoff team but not after a KC loss.

If we do lose...WOW!! :bang2:

Simple. Dave Campo. ;)

Put DeCamillis in charge, Ray Sherman running the O, and someone else running the D...not sure who, maybe Dat Nguyen. Hell, see what he can do.

I'm just tired of re-tread coaches. Their time is passing - the only guy still coaching from the old era of coaches that is finding any success is Belicheat, and maybe Jeff Fisher (though this season wouldn't show that).

It's time we move on to fresh faces like the Cards, Jets, Steelers, Saints, etc.
