I could see them playing their starters. We started ours in week 17 when everything was wrapped up to keep up our momentum, they could do the same.

In any event, I feel confident that Washington trying to lose is still better than Dallas trying to win in the box score.

The Cowboys play worse at home and plus, this series usually ends in a split each season so I think Washington should be able to beat us easily...even with their backups! And I'm all for it

I agree, having lost to us a few weeks ago, I'm sure that they wouldn't want to enter the playoffs going 0-2 against this offensive juggernaut.

You guys are funny. You complain about Jerry drafting busy but yet cheering for us to lose. Then you think Washington will screw us out of draft position because we will have a better pick if they lose.

It doesn't matter if Dallas has a top 5 draft pick if the pick is poor and/or the coaching sucks.

Washington has a chance to have a winning season and enter the playoffs with some momentum. They're hot right now and riding a 4 game win streak into the playoffs would give them some confidence. This is the time of year you want to be playing your best football it can carry you through the playoffs. I expect them to come out and give their best because a lackluster performance could carry over into the playoffs killing the momentum they've established the past few weeks. The Cowboys laid down for them in the season finale in 07 after wrapping up the division and #1 seed and it led to a one and done. I don't believe in resting starters and laying down in the final game that can lead to a poor performance that can carry over to the playoffs.

I don't think the Commanders are a good enough team to take a week off and "rest" players - they need whatever momentum they can muster heading into the playoffs.
