And no, I do not hate dogs though there are some I do not care for. Then again, there are some cats I do not care for either.

My point is that you gain more loyalty wise from dogs but you are also more at risk from dogs as well. A cat will rarely protect you, but dogs will and it is hard to imagine a burglar telling his buddy, "Let's try a different house, that house has a cat."

I have both dogs and cats, I neither one would protect the house. I wouldn't expect them to. I view myself as their protector, not the other way around.

I just closed my pool up this week, (filled it with dirt) so she doesn't have that anymore. As noted, we are thinking about selling the house and a pool can make the house a bit harder to sell up here. (definitely not like Texas where a pool is a bonus)

My pup is a she and her name is Gracie. She was just spayed on Monday, due to a serious infection. We should have spayed her long ago. If we had, she would have never had the infection. She is in recovery mode now, but doing great.

I had a story about that I've been thinking about posting. I was more pissed that I have been in an extremely long time.

Anyhow, she will turn 5 on July 3rd. It's really going to suck if I have to let her go. :cry:
