Am I the only person who thinks Dolly's voice is borderline awful?

I know she's a music legend, etc, so I'm probably in the minority on this one

But her voice is just terrible to me. I think she's at best a marginal singer.
Never got the hype about her. Other than two very evident reasons that she would draw a lot of attention.....

I will agree with that. She seems to be a genuine decent person in a world that doesn't have many.

You're not the only person. Lovely person, definitely a legend, and she has done a lot of great things in her life to help countless amounts of people, but I won't be watching the halftime show lol.

If Jerry was going to go old school, I would have rather seen a collection of older singers or even bands rather than featuring just one.

That way at least you get a few chances at an artist you like and with only one song each (and maybe a group collaboration at the end) you would be likely to get their most well-liked songs.
