Some scouts dissected Fields' passes and found that he rarely progresses through his reads. It is a concern for me that he overwhelmingly threw to the first receiver he locked his eyes on. Maybe he can adjust in the NFL and was never really forced to look off his first option. His efficiency though was impressive.

Meh, I've seen some breakdowns that prove the opposite--this year, Fields did a much better job going through his reads. I think when you talk about red flags, Wilson's competition is a bigger one than Fields' reading the field

Keep in mind that if we had LOST to the Bengals and then lost out, we would have had the 3rd overall pick.

I console myself knowing that with the level of competency in the Cowboys' front office, we would have never made this move.

I think Sewell to the Bengals is just about a lock. Also think Chase to the Fins is a lock. It’s definitely getting interesting.

I wouldn't be too sure. Joe Burrow needs a go-to receiver. Pitts would look awfully nice to Burrow.

I will throw this out there....2 things. BYU pro day...today....Wilson crushes it...maybe SF and Jets flop picks....since Saleh and 49ers have history...or 49ers made this move to guarantee a QB....and they trade 1/3....to the Texans...for Watson.

No team is taking Watson now with his off-field issues.

Team tank from last year might have been on to something. If we would have tanked and had the fourth overall pick we could have gotten a similar haul.

Pitts is a heck of talent but I’m not taking him in front of a franchise LT.

Yep. And its starting this year....they may fall into a talent again but they've shown if they don't like that talent they won't take them.

That would never happen. There's no shame in drafting Lawrence and him becoming a bust. Its a move everyone else. But if you take Wilson and then pass up on Lawrence and he becomes what people think he can become....that GM will never got a job again. Some gambles just ain't worth it.
