Dominant Win

Good stuff! We need more fans like you....Salud!
That was a good post. I’ll take an ugly divisional win against a streaking WFT (winners of 4 straight) in their backyard to put us up 3.5 games on both them and the Iggles!

Divisional games aren’t always easy wins. And our defense is indeed peaking. Parsons continues to play like the DPOY, Gallimore flashed big time, and Gregory was doing Gregory things yet again.

4 games for the O to iron out the kinks while the D continues to gel.

It was fun to watch a dominant performance by our defense and they should be competitive against playoff caliber teams later on. It is always wise to keep things in proper perspective as we were playing the guys that play in the 4th qtr of pre season games on their offense . Teams lead by Rodgers and Brady at full strength in the playoffs will not be dominated on the level the Skins were today

For sure… we have work to do on a number of fronts.

That said— our pass-rush with Law, Parsons, and Gregory can give any offense problems. The D is peaking at the perfect time. It’s true that Brady and Rodgers won’t be as easy to handle as the WFT— but it’s also likely true that the Dallas offense won’t remain bottled up forever.

If Dak and Co recover their rhythm— then this team will be NASTY to face in Jan/Feb

If you cannot enjoy the win and being 9-4, 3 game lead and 4 to go.
You are not Fan.
Yeah. I’m enjoying the win for sure. Lol.

On the other hand we are probably not going to win a SB playing like we are on offense. Has to get better.

We have a legit roster to compete for a SB. Don’t want to see us squander this **** at another Lombardi trophy.

This team is going to get picked apart this off-season.

For real!! Lol

I am excited to watch our D for the first time in forever. Parsons has changed the trajectory of this D! IMO— we have been looking for a truly catalytic player on D— and we have not had one since Charles Haley.

We do now in Parsons. And just like Haley brought about a different culture on D— Parsons is doing it now.

Don’t get me wrong… We have had some great players on D: Woody, Ware, Lee to name a few— but Parsons just has the “it” factor.

He simply makes huge plays right when the team needs him to. Unreal rookie year and I am so excited for his future and what he will be bringing to this team for years to come
I’m a little more bullish on Diggs after today as well blanketing McLaurin. He’s a very good receiver.

They only allowed 13 points, but Washington doesn't have the most prolific offense. I'd like to see them be this dominant against everyone. Now that DLaw, Gregory, Gallimore, and Parsons can all be on the field at once...Hooooooooooooooo, I wouldn't wanna be the QB they're coming after.
Galli looked like a beast today.

Translation: don’t complain about all the sloppiness because we beat an undermanned inferior team. Wait to complain about those things when they cause us to be one and done in the playoffs. Then the excuses will start.

we need to start playing our standard game steady and fast . We are playing down to competition and bumbling with sloppiness, 4 more games to get offense back on track and fine tune the defense and get our DL combinations identified.

The streak will continue too! Regardless of the past few offensive masterpieces the NY Giants are the perfect upcoming remedy for curing what ails these offensive Cowboys. At least for ONE game anyway.

At the present moment, NYG will be rolling out Glennon, Daniel Jones OR Jake Fromm at QB based on their health.

And after facing Taysom Hill and that dynamic duo of Heinicke and Allen in back2back games, this continues a true murderers row of opposing QBs.

But I do agree with you about the defense though, regardless of opponent, this group appears to be a legit contender.

Offense?
Not even close.

Just remember— winning in NO is never easy, and division games are always nasty and hard fought regardless of records and rankings.

Winning on the road in the NFL in Dec is always tough. Was our offense dominant? Not even close. But our D most definitely was.

IMO…. The offense will rebound. They are not as good as they looked early in the year, but they are not as bad as they have looked the last few weeks either.

I hope you are right. They have struggled quite a bit recently and every time we look to be getting healthy we lose more guys. Dak is not playing with confidence.

Hats off to the defense, especially #11.

Lots of hand-wringing after this game lol…. Here is the deal:

We just spanked the “hottest team in the NFL” in their own house— after guaranteeing that we would win.

Our offense was “meh.” And we STILL dominated the WFT. The D started the game dominating— and they ended the game by slamming the door just when the WFT thought a little light was starting to break through the clouds lol…

Was it a “pretty” win? YES!! Our D flat out owned those nameless pukes and destroyed them in their own house! I love it!

For those worried about the offense— they can and will play better. For now— enjoy a dominating performance by our D! That unit is peaking at the PERFECT time for a playoff run!!

I think you are changing the definition of "dominant".

Yes and we destroyed them both games. Wait, maybe that was after McNab. I remember beating them in the final week and the crushing them in the playoffs. It was a ton of fun.
That's when they had Vick take over in the playoffs cause week 16 philly scored 0 points and the playoff game was looking the same until Vick took over.

Nah. Anytime you say you are gonna go into someone else’s house and win and back it up— that’s dominance.

Any way you cut it— the D dominated them. What other word would you describe this performance?

5 sacks
4 TFL
3 FF
1 INT
1 Def TD

Good post. Pressure is the key to defense. Pressure that QB and stop that run.

The team was not good against a mash unit Commander unit missing its 2 best pass rushers among many others. 6 FGs is a joke. Thats our offense not getting it done. We are lucky the Commanders have the worst offense in the NFL b/c we came a dropped ball away from blowing a 24 point lead. Thats not dominance in anyones book.
