I would think with your history of insight and informative postings you would have this information all dialed up, and not have to ask others to do your research for you.

You are correct about my great insight and informative postings. Thanks for reminding me guy.

He had arthroscopic knee surgery to repair torn cartilage during the 2005 season. He rested the rest of that season and the offseason getting ready for 2006 training camp. The knee was still painful and he couldn't run. He ended up on IR. The knee is still bothering him now, so the Texans released him. Before the 2005 injury he was knicked up a lot. It was minor stuff, but it happened frequently.

Player News
The Houston Texans waived running back Domanick Williams on Friday. Williams, formerly Domanick Davis, is Houston's career rushing leader with 3,195 yards. He spent all of last season on injured reserve with a knee injury. Williams sat out most of training camp last season with soreness in his right knee. He showed up in the Texans locker room on Jan. 1, saying he had legally changed his last name from Davis to Williams, his mother's maiden name. He missed five games in 2005 before undergoing arthroscopic knee surgery. He returned for training camp and declared himself healthy, but soon stopped practicing because of a bone bruise in the knee.

No problem brother. Your posting history speaks for itself. Your threads are always well-backed and informative, which is why I was so surprised you did not have this Davis injury information at your fingertips! LOL! We all come up short now and again.

I agree with this. This guy is the poster child for injury prone. It was always something with him.

cause he and his "bro" can't stir things up if they do their own legwork. wg found it in no time flat.

like i said - i *almost* wanted to take this one seriously and give the benefit of doubt bp has talked about and try to have a civil convo w/him.

then along comes bedwetter with part 2 of this off-vaudville show and reminded me why i can never do that.

Calm down guy...I just didn't have the specifics regarding Dominick's bum knee. I am committed to walking the line around here.
Anyway, let's just move on so as not to let things drift off course into the "insult abyss". LOL.
Make it a great day.

no problem man. i think you'd find less "insult abyss" (good analogy) around here if it didn't seem to be such a "let's see how much we can get under their skin" game between you two. the always behind the other with compliments, kudo's and butt-slaps of glory with the hulk hogan "brother" just begs to be insulted.

you have a good day too, man. in as much as anyone can for a monday. : )

I've been off the board the past few days recharging my batteries at my mountain home up in the Blue Ridge (near Silver Bear as a matter of fact). I purposedly did not take my computer. Now , I'm back rested and ready for a big week.
Anyway, haven't heard much discussion on Dominick Davis. Personally, I like the kid, he had some impressive showings for the lowly Texans during his stint there. Didn't the braintrust at Valley Ranch consider this guy at one time? I think JJ/WP should bring him in for a look see. Who knows, he many give JuJo a run for his money. All on this board, know my feelings regarding one JuJo.
Who here can enlighten me as to the prospects of one Dominick Davis and whether he would be worth picking up?
Thoughts?

uh, no...not remotely interested

David
