The Cowboys have met with a lot of defensive linemen over the last few weeks, which could be a draft smokescreen if not for the overwhelming need for help up front in Dallas.

The list of visitors is expected to get a little longer this week as Todd Archer of ESPNDallas.com reports that Florida defensive tackle Dominique Easley will stop in for a visit. Easley was on his way to a lofty draft position heading into the 2013 season, but he tore his left ACL in September to wipe out his final year with the Gators and create uncertainty about his future.

I want him. I would even think about taking him in the 1st if we did a trade back similar to last year.

If we can get Barr at 16 or alittle trade up and then land Easley in the 2nd. That's a Damn good start.

Trade back grab D Lawrence and move up a little bit in the 2nd for Easley. I'd be super happy

For an A Grade Draft in the 1st two rounds just wait on Barr, Donald, Mosley, Lewan or Jernigan @ 16........then take Ward, Tuitt, Hageman, Easley or Crichton in the 2nd @ 47.

He's one more ACL tear away from having a pretty short NFL career.

Any NFL player is 1 injury away from not having a career anymore. Leary is supposed to have a very short career. But he played every single offensive snap for the Cowboys

Easley was rated better than Clowney before the injury, he's a BEAST if healthy. If he can play this year he's well worth the chance in the 2nd round ...AND A NO BRAINER IN THE 3RD.

His a damn good to great player Iam not arguing that. We have been taking these injured histories with mixed results.
I'm caucus but you and others may be right

Before the start of this NCAA season nobody was rated a better prospect than Clowney at any of their own respective positions.

So where do you get that Easley was a higher rated player than Clowney?

So Easley was regarded as the consensus # 1 prospect to be picked in this years draft at any point of the NCAA season that just concluded?

Better than Clowney off the LOS.

Easley was in the running with Jadeveon Clowney for the best get-off in college football, but unlike Clowney, Easley displayed a non-stop motor and never took plays off. In just a three-game season, he had five tackles (four solo) with two tackles for a loss. Easley was one of the best defensive linemen in the nation and on his way to an All-SEC and All-American season.

I like the way you think. Can we sprinkle a little Aaron Murray in the 3rd?

Not for me. Maybe 4th. I don't like drafting a qb this year. Romo is here for another 2 years due to his contract. If we restructure romo again next year then he is here for 3 more years. Any qb we draft this year will have a 4 year deal.

Murrey is good but nothing special. I would rather wait a year or two to draft a qb to replace Romo.

Murrey isn't going g to be able to step into the nfl and win anytime soon.

You are banking on the fact that Romo with 2 back surgeries will last 2 more years. Personally I'd like to draft a guy this year and let him study for a year or 2. Murray is a fantastic prospect I wouldn't use the term nothing "special"
