I think Easley has so much more potential then Kony if healthy.

There are a lot of players with more potential than Ealy. No question the most overrated player in this draft.

He does not seem to be overrated much on here. Maybe a few posters are high on him but most of us are just not too excited by idea that he might be the pick...especially at 16 if the board gets wiped and we can't trade down.

To me, taking Ealy at 16 is a forced need pick devoid of value. It is picking the DE just because of the horrible talent we have currently. It certainly would not be about taking the sixteenth best player in this class.

I agree...although they do see him as being a DE who can also move over to 3 tech at times. Still does not excite me much as evident in my nightmare scenario thread and possibility of what is left at 16.

If I am taking a DE who can play inside sometimes, I am taking Martin and not having to exhaust a first round choice.

My point is that the past matters. So Brett Favre (in his prime) had the same probability of getting hurt that Matt Johnson does?

You have to take the medical information provided to you, and make a sound decision. Easley already has an ACL tear in both knees. He simply cannot afford another tear.

Someone who's never had a knee ligament tear could sustain the injury, and almost certainly make a full recovery. Easley most likely wouldn't. 2nd round pick? No chance.

Does it? AP was injury prone and didnt have any problems til now. But nobody in the nfl take as much abuse as him.Guys who arent affraid to put in the work and train the right way do just fine. The way Easley was moving around at his proday, he seems to be in that kind of mold. Because he had alot of good movement.

Tuitt is the guy in this draft who fits that discription best IMO.

If we can get Barr at 16 or alittle trade up and then land Easley in the 2nd. That's a Damn good start.

God this would be perfect. I would trade up in the second to make sure I get Easley. Barr is my number one realistic target in this draft with Donald and Lewan right there.

If it came down to all of our top options being gone and we traded back, I think I would be willing to roll the dice on him especially if we were able to pick up an extra second in the trade down because we could still get two good players in the second round that lower the risk of taking an injured player in the first.

Very risky but the upside is gigantic.
