Don Banks mock Dallas 40

We probably know alot about him, considering how interested we were in Earl Thomas last year.

Not crazy about the pick, but his name is definitely gaining some steam and is being associated with the Cowboys in more than one place.

Harris is not that good. Williams is the better pick by a mile.

It has to be UTexas hate because he is by far the best db available and one of the last of the first round type talent guys still hanging around.

really, because I don't see that. Have you seen Harris stats. THe guy was a shut down corner at Miami. Williams is being projected to be a safety. How can a player that is projected to be a safety in the NFL be a better CB than Harris. But thats your opinion and mine is that Harris will be a Devon McCourtey type CB.

Harris a shut down corner?:laugh2: Do you know that he's 64 on Goose's Top 100? He's also 5-9 1/2, the Cowboys don't draft guys under 5-10 from what I've seen. Williams is 31 on Goose's Top 100. I've also seen some draft guru's say Harris is a nickel back.

I don't care about Goose. Others like Wes Bunting has him higher.
So an 1/2" makes all the difference. McCourty is 5-10. a half an inch doesn't mean crap. sorry dude but you loose all credibilty with that statment.

Have you ever seen Harris play? I doubt it.
You need to stop reading reports from those so called draft guru's.

If you want to draft a FS at 40, I'm all for Wiliams but I would rather draft a good CB and get a vet FS in Huff.

Look at who the Cowboys draft, it's all 5-10 and above. The current 5-10 guys are small enough that they actually need more size. Every team has parameters of size at every position. Parcells was really big on that. And Goose's Top 100 and mock draft are the best every year because it's based off of nfl gms and scouts not some amatuer's opinion.

I've seen 3 articles that have Williams as one of the Top 5 guys left on the board. Harris not even mentioned. I like Harris but I'd much rather have Williams with some versatility at safety. He also a top run stopper and tackler. I like that.

Bunting has him at #2 left

Agreed.

I still say he is the 2nd best DB in this draft.

its amazing how many Texas fans is on this forum

another that has Harris over williams.

I wouldn't mind either of them. Both good dplayers but I would just rather have Harris and Huff over Williams. But I wound't hate the Willaims pick.

But saying one is better by a mile is just wrong and say Harris won't make it because he is 1/2 inch to short is just plain dumb.

Im not really a Texas fan. I've just watched the guy play quite a bit and imo he will be the 2nd best DB in this draft.

I'd sure as heck rather have him than Prince.

I think both lines are a priority. Secondary can be adressed in FA.

I agree. I think Rackley might be a good choice at 40 because after him and Hudson, OL kinda dries up a bit
