Donovan Ereiruaku measurements vs Parsons

Cowboys stole him last night. GREAT pick at 44. Pairing him up with Parsons will be deadly. I absolutely loved this pick. The "he has all the tricks in his bag to win against good players" I keep hearing is exciting. He needs to get bigger and stronger but he will. The Cowboys got a good one!

Having a bookend to pair with Parsons solidifies the ability to rush the passer, but the depth is even more obvious now with this addition.
Great pick.

Great pick but dont look for him a Micah to play tandem DEs, they are too light
It will be him and Micah on one side and Kneeland/Williams on the other

One of the added benefits of this pick.

Perhaps this allows Micah to play less snaps, which in turn SHOULD help him stay more productive throughout the season and not wear down as much.

Teams won't have to pass much against us. The worst area of the defense is the run defense and we haven't addressed it in any significant way. This kid may get some sacks but he's still an undersized DE and teams are going to run the ball right at him.
Size has nothing to do with running the football on us though.

He makes Fowler expendable after this season. Good pick up for 2026 as was Revel. They may contribute this season but will be expected to start in 2026. I’m fine with that because I don’t expect many wins this season. Focus more long term.

Correct: Also, with Micah playing less snaps, he'll need a lower salary

This is good........what's his 40 time? BTW........it's no secret I'm not the best speller on the board but darn, spelling his last name is hard :lmao2:

Sam Williams ran a 4.46 40, a 1.6 10 yard split and had a 10'3" broad jump. He didn't do the cone and shuttle drills, but at his pro day he had a 36" vertical. Sam Williams is 6'4" and 261 lbs. I am not saying Ezeiruaku is not a good player, but I would argue he is similar to Sam Williams who is already on the team, only Williams is bigger.

I wonder if the plan is to get rid of Williams, who has been known to make mental mistakes, bad mental mistakes. Maybe they trade him for a receiver or RB?

Need 2 great DTs then collapsing the middle
We have 0.5 good DTs
A line of Mazi Osa Micah and EZ will give up 5-7 yds to a good run team easy
I think that lineup is strictly for passing downs though. Fowler is also a pass rush so I’m interested in seeing how they how they handle this. Depth at DE….not so much at interior.
