Found it was interesting indeed. Thought he was a smart guy, but this is pretty dumb. A few details below:

McNabb, 38, told officers he had just left a sports bar and was driving to his Phoenix-area home.

A police report stated McNabb's vehicle rear-ended a car driven by the wife of a Gila River tribal police officer and McNabb appeared to be impaired.

"While Donovan spoke, I noticed a strong, fruity odor on his breath. I noticed Donovan's eyes were watery and very bloodshot and his speech was slurred," a Gilbert officer wrote in his report.

McNabb said it was cough drops he had taken because of a cold.

PS. Slow time of the year thus this non-Cowboy related posting.

You thought McNabb was a smart guy? He didn't even know the rules to a game that he was playing LOL

Well, when both Romo and McNabb were QBing , Dallas won 5 out of 7.

Not sure who our QB was when Philly was dominant.....but please don't act Philly was not kicking our rear end in the 2000s

How many of these McFlabb DUI threads will be started in the Fan Zone?

A 10 second browse of the proper Zone for this stuff would show this was already posted, oh, I dunno, about 20 hours ago . . . . . . . . . :banghead:

Just kind of a stupid thing to advertise like it's not a big deal...

Actually, there's a difference between being under the influence and being drunk.
(Never said I was drunk in the post.) As if none of y'all FOOTBALL FANS drink.
Secondly, I was making a play on the phrase that I've "never ran into the back of a woman in my car".
Thirdly, I'm not surprised at the response because some people get satire and hyperbole and some don't.

The ones that drink and drive still arent very smart

That should be his name instead of Donavon. 2nd DUI arrest in two years. That's called a felony. Life with the peasants must be tough.

In Arizona, I don't think it's a felony unless the 1st conviction was felony offense or if you've seriously hurt somebody. I think you have to have three in Az for it to be tried as a felony offense but I don't know for sure. Maybe somebody in Az can confirm.

My point was that soon as we had a QB..as in 2006...that crap ended, for the most part.

Everyone was kicking our tails before then.

He's in Arizona, no mention of a felony on a law website:

With a second conviction of a DUI in Arizona you will receive a $900 fine ($500 + 80% surcharge) PLUS another $1,250 for your 2nd DUI Assessment and up to 90 days (30 minimum) in jail. Drivers license will be revoked for one year. You will also have to install (at your expense) a interlock ignition device in all of your vehicles.

Oh, well in NY it's a felony. Maybe that's why he moved to Arizona. :)

Lol that is the entire premise of this thread, I'm just pointing out the hypocrisy

And BTW, Isn't our system of justice pretty much based on being judged by others ?

Are you comparing rule of law and due process to what goes on here?

I know most of you are great people, so this isn't directed to you.but to the others... My best friends daughter was murdered by a drunk driver. Yes I called it murder. Until you live through someone you love and cherish being taken away because of the stupidity of a moron who decides to drink and drive, you shouldn't make light of it. I sincerely pray you never have to be called to the scene of an accident to watch them scrape the body of your little girl off the pavement . I have no good feelings towards the idiots who decide to drive once they've had too much to drink. They could rot in a jail cell for the rest of their lives and we'd all be safer. How many times will he do this before he kills someone? If he doesn't have good enough judgement to make a life and death decision. He shouldn't have a job where he's in the public eye.

Lol

Point is that people judge all the time and that is the premise of this thread

In any event saying that DUI is bad is not judgmental but a fact

You avoided the question.

My point is that the justice system is nothing compared to the nonsense that goes on here. Also there is a difference between judging an action and judging a human being.

I ignored it because that wasn't the point of my post or this thread
You have a habit of coming in and picking a minor side issue and focusing on it instead of what the topic is

DUI and the hypocrisy of some CZ posters when it comes to cowboy players

try to keep up
