What are everyone’s thoughts on Wilson going forward?
seems like he makes a lot of plays but I’ll admit I haven’t seen enough non-highlight film to see if how he’s doing on regular plays as far as messing up coverages and etc.
 
I like him!! He is a baller so here is hoping we can get him a partner back there and get rid of that waste of space Woods. I actually think the only 2 survivors in our secondary should be Diggs and Wilson, everyone else can go kick rocks with flip flops they suck
 
He’s one half of the starting safety duo, we need to find the other, really we have the guy it’s Awuzie, hopefully they go ahead and move him there this off-season

You know I never thought of Awuzie at Free Safety but I think he may shine there....He gets roasted most of the time at cb so I'm thinking he is out of position maybe and obviously the defense scheme sucks ***..Now Brown and Woods can **** of town!!

Not sure that it matters at this point. There’s enough holes on the defense I don’t think they’ll have the resources to pick up 2 starting caliber safeties this offseason. If nothing else I think he’s penciled in as one of next season’s starters by default unless something magically appears in their lap
 
He's ok. If we can find an upgrade, great. But he's made enough plays to at least compete for the job next year.

As for Woods, he can't leave the locker room fast enough
 
He has a lot of room to grow. He bites HARD on play action and misdirection (sound familiar?). That said, he makes a ton of splash plays. He seems like the kind of player a cerebral defensive coordinator is able to put in positions to make plays. Is Nolan that guy? I just don't know. If he's not moved around and schemed into plays, I think he'll see his splash plays greatly reduced as teams attack his weaknesses. Damn it's fun to see a safety back there thumping people and picking off passes though.
 
The last "good" SS we've had was Barry Church, and Wilson has already proven to be better in space/coverage than Church ever was, so that's a bonus.

I doubt this FO will ever throw high draft picks at a real FS unless their draft board is completely wiped-out and they're staring at the ole' "blinking light". It's just not a sexy enough pick for the Jones'.
 
One bright spot this year. Wilson is a plamaker with room to grow. Now we just need another starting S and CB.

Woods should not in any circumstance be allowed to return
