If its about the 2004 season, I'd rather forget it ever happened...

it sucked in case you forgot

the only good things from 2004:

1) trading for Henson
2) getting rid of Carter
3) seeing Julius Jones explode the 2nd half of the season

I noticed a lot of today's listings were incorrect. They were showing the Rams and Falcons around 3:00 CST when the Giants and Commanders were scheduled to be shown. Hopefully, they don't show something else in lieu of the Cowboys tonight as well.

Watching the Eagles hilights now.

What I don't get is why we allowed Owens to do what he did---again.

He was doing that stupid hockey thing and Terence Newman just took it. I must have missed that part when I was throwing crap around my living room last fall.

We need to be more nasty on defense. And the fact that Newman just took that bothers me.

Where was George Teague when we needed him?

Halfway through. If this isn't getting you guys and girls pumped I don't know what will. Best quote so far: "America's team is America's team because it always rises again!"

Right.... that piece will dig deep into your soul if you're a true Cowboys fan...... it played so well on tradition... and I love Brad Scham's voice. I know highlights are just that... highlights.. but that piece made me want to suit up and knock somebody out! I'm ready for Bledsoe, J.J. Witten, RW, Glover, Demarcus and Marcus, Ferguson, Rivera, Crayton, Key, Glenn, etc. etc. etc. I really think we have a 9-10 win team @least... especially with Bill @ the helm.. I just pray for good health!

Yes, they tied in the classic footage very nicely.

Lots of good slo-mo shots of Roy laying the hammer too.

Was surprised by the college footage of Ware, Spears, and Burnett. Very cool.

Bring on the season already! Let's go!

So I'm watching it now and it definitely feeds all my homer tendencies. I'm amazed they're able to put a positive spin on a some of the stuff that went on in 2004.

I luv'd watching Woodson lay the wood on folks at the very beginning. :)

For as long as they've been making those 32 team programs, that has amazed me. The spin doctors who write these things should be in Washington..ten years of 90's Bengals or late 80's-late 90's Jets ought to qualify anyone for national press secretary.

The amount of classic footage compared to 03's 10-6 year in review was the surest sign of decay. That and the glowing JJ segment. "Promise" coupled with the "past" always equals you stunk it up.

It was good, tho, because the writers ably connected that very real promise to a wealth of past glory.

I luv'd watching Woodson lay the wood on folks at the very beginning. :)

Me too. ;)
