Knock the Commanders out now....Mavs had a chance to knock out GoldenState but put in the bench scrubs only to get humiliated in the playoffs...The Cowboys need to go for the kill....

I repeat, if the Skins get in, they WILL lose to Seattle.
I repeat, if games were played on paper we would have beat Philadelphia last week.

FYI one of the most annoying things on a cowboys forum is to read references to NBA teams. :)

Mavs lost because they have no heart .... I do not believe this Cowboys team has that problem.

I repeat, if the cowboys beat the Commanders the Commanders go home for the year. Why would we not try and play spoilers to the skins?

Yeah but the Mavs didnt have the injury problems we have- If I recall correctly.

We should play our starters one half, and bench them in the third.

I dont think these following players should play: Gurode, Columbo, Watkins, Newman, Henry, Canty, and possibly Romo, althoug his thumb is/should be fine. I just dont know if I want to risk him getting hurt.

Then of course T.O. will not be playing so that is not an issue.

Who cares if we win this game. We have HFA locked up, and aren't exactly on a roll right now anyways. Let's regroup, get healthy, and look to make a Super Bowl run. Just my opinion.

You didn't get my point. The op assumed that if we lose to the Skins, then we will lose to them in the playoffs. I posited an equally deterministic response to show how silly that type of thinking is. Redaing it now though I can see how that could be misinterpreted. My bad.

I still think the Seahawks will beat the Commanders in the playoffs, though.

the mavs lost because they are a bunch of pansies. The spurs lost a game late last year against the nuggets, played them in the first round and after the first game, they dismantled them, so it depends on the team not the situation.

Don't you get it? The Mavericks share the same city name with the Cowboys.

therefore Mavericks=Cowboys

Foolproof logic if you ask me.

I think an interesting question is whether the Cowboys should feel a responsibility to the league to approach the Skins game as if it matters one way or another.

I think the answer is definitely no because the Vikings had their shot and came up short.

LOL. Mavs have problems with athletic teams. Fortunately, the Commanders don't have Baron Davis, Matt Barnes, Stephen Jackson, etc...

Anyone that followed the Mavs last year knew that GS was the worst possible matchup for the Mavs. GS finally began to mesh with the trade of Stephen Jackson and also with Baron coming back from his usual yearly back injury.

Collins is no Baron Davis :)

I agree - we need to knock Skins out now. Be 14-2 and with a swagger going into playoffs.

I'm coach I play all my starters into 3rd quarter and take them out when it's out of hand.

I agree, why not put the dagger in the heart of our arch rivals if we have the chance? We have 2 weeks to heal injuries if we get some.

You think it'll be out of hand in the 3rd quarter?
