I suppose but wasnt that the drive where after we stuffed one run, the D could've been dancing with the cheerleaders on the other 2 plays and they still would have had to settle for a field goal by thier own doing?

That was a big series and a nice stop on 1st down from I believe Singleton and Newman. But, do remember that SF gave away 2 downs from fumbling a snap and spiking the ball on 3rd down.

Your post was completely right. However, given the circumstances of each play in that series, it isn't something Zimmer can completely take credit for.

We only stopped them once. After that, it was on Rattay for not calling a play on the 3rd down after the botched snap and spiking the ball. They had something like 15 seconds
