I don't mean to be flippant. Walsh was a great of the game, and contributed SO much to it. He will be missed. And deserves to be honored.

But tributes that have already been rerun up the kazoo - can't they wait til 9 PM?

The way they do is whatever airs at 8 airs at 11. It's more predictable than the sun rising and setting.

well directv is showing they will air it...at 1pm eastern tomorrow which is real early

Adam Schefter just did a nice piece about him at the end of Total Access. It was fitting and respectful. Running a worn out episode of In Their Own Words would be lame if it was pre-empting a Cowboys piece or not.
