Don't get attached to the #4 pick

Just my opinion, but I think we almost certainly will trade the pick. We know that the two QBs will go #1 and #2, and there's a pretty good chance there is a trade at #3 as well. Miami *could* move up Elliot or Baltimore *could* move up for Ramsey. I doubt we see a trade at #3 involving Tunsil, since we aren't a risk to take him. But if he's there, I expect our phones to light up, which imo, is much better than staying at #4.

I think you are right.
With the exception that we won't take Tunsil .We very well could take him.
And we aren't letting a team that wants Elliott to get ahead of us with our pick. He is most likely the Cowboys target. After Ramsey that is.

I think SD either takes Tunsil or another team trades up for him. We are not a threat, I agree, but I don't see a team trading up for a DB or a RB. Not into the top 5, not this year were the draft is so deep.

Rumors are we have a deal in place with the Titans if Tunsil makes it to pick 4.

With all rumors, take it with a grain of salt.

Would love to trade down and end up with either Elliot or Lynch.

The problem I see is that pick 15 is too low for either one of those guys (this is assuming we do the trade with the Titans).

I would be hesitant to drop out of the top 10, but its not my decision.

I saw that but don't agree with the compensation in return. I was listening to a local sports radio and they mentioned a trade scenario with the Titans/cowboys. They said that the Cowboys should get the Titans 2016 1st rd, one of their 2nd rd, 3rd and next years 1st. They said that the Eagles only moved up 6 spots and traded a first, a third , next years 1st and the following year 3rd. The Cowboys will be moving down 11 spots, almost double what the Eagles did. It was interesting. Can't wait for the draft

This is true, but there is a decent chance that a few players we like will make it to 15, and we can use those 2 2nds we pick up to fill a lot of holes.

Isn't it a sportswriter who suggested that and maybe you are now spinning it as more? do you have any links that suggest this?

Might have to drop down, get the picks, then use one of them to move into the top 10
A little risky but could be huge

I hope not. Get a difference maker early and don't look back.

Don't worry about who or what position is a "reach".

Get your guy.

Ramsey
Zeke
Or Buckner will be there.

You can't go wrong with either, honestly.

You can go plenty wrong at 15. The extra picks are just not necessary when you landed 3 first round talents last year... Or call it two if you want to drop 94.

The Eagles have up a 1st, 2nd and 3rd to move up 6 spots into the top 2 to get one of two QBs.

The Cowboys shouldn't get nearly the same compensation for the 4th pick. So essentially getting the same deal as the Eagles have up is a pipe dream.

That quote sounds more like speculation. Clayton says if SD doesn't take Tunsil there very well COULD be a trade in place. I'd like the extra picks if true however.

I would take Tunsil if he is there.

I think SD takes Ramsey.

We could always trade Tunsil a little later in the first Rd if its for somebody we want and some extra picks.

Some team would step up for that that doesn't have a high pick right now..

like Tennessee.

I'm betting we have already spoken to them if Tunsil is at 4.

Lets see what happens.

We are still in a good situation.

i cannot imagine SD passing on Tunsil unless they think they can land a solid LT in the second round. Need meets BPA, the draft Gods have been kind to them this year.

They have 2 highly paid tackles, and a first round OT from a couple of years ago, why do they have to take another? I think they take Ramsey or Jack. Jack said that SD has shown the most interest.
