Don't get attached to the #4 pick

They have 2 highly paid tackles, and a first round OT from a couple of years ago, why do they have to take another? I think they take Ramsey or Jack. Jack said that SD has shown the most interest.

they had nothing but issues with their OL and LT last year...

I saw that but don't agree with the compensation in return. I was listening to a local sports radio and they mentioned a trade scenario with the Titans/cowboys. They said that the Cowboys should get the Titans 2016 1st rd, one of their 2nd rd, 3rd and next years 1st. They said that the Eagles only moved up 6 spots and traded a first, a third , next years 1st and the following year 3rd. The Cowboys will be moving down 11 spots, almost double what the Eagles did. It was interesting. Can't wait for the draft

Yea, the compensation sounds low to me as well......................a 2nd and a 3rd to jump 11 spots is not enough..........I would want either 2 second round picks or the Titans first round pick next year.

Might have to drop down, get the picks, then use one of them to move into the top 10
A little risky but could be huge

Good point my friend, I would do the same..................try to jump back into the 8-10 area and maybe grab Zeke or Lynch if one of them slides.

Just my opinion, but I think we almost certainly will trade the pick. We know that the two QBs will go #1 and #2, and there's a pretty good chance there is a trade at #3 as well. Miami *could* move up Elliot or Baltimore *could* move up for Ramsey. I doubt we see a trade at #3 involving Tunsil, since we aren't a risk to take him. But if he's there, I expect our phones to light up, which imo, is much better than staying at #4.

Don't rule out a trade up for Stanley, even if Tunsil is taken or not. I heard Riddick - I think it was him - say that Stanley was better than Tunsil, and in some mocks, Stanley is taken ahead of Tunsil.

This will be an interesting draft.

The chargers just picked up the option on Flukers contact. It still doesn't rule out Tunsil.

The Cowboys would be the one team to trade down and NOT receive an impressive haul in return....

They moved Fluker to guard last year - which is where quite a few "experts" thought he may end up.

From what I've read most San Diego fans are happy with their OTs and think they go Buckner or Ramsey.

Yea, I went to their message board...they kinda prefer other options over Tunsil, which I don't get, but am fine with. Think we can really benefit from it.

its a win win for us imo.either we get the highest rated player on our board in Ramsey or we get 3 picks to move down .

The Eagles have up a 1st, 2nd and 3rd to move up 6 spots into the top 2 to get one of two QBs.

The Cowboys shouldn't get nearly the same compensation for the 4th pick. So essentially getting the same deal as the Eagles have up is a pipe dream.

It is. But that does not mean that I am giving away the fourth pick for something insulting just to do it.

Stephen Jones says the phone isn't ringing much. And that is quite okay.

We have much better success drafting in the first round than second, so I don't see the excitement behind stockpiling later picks. 2nd round is where we got Sean Lee, who is excellent when on the field, but is off the field half the time. Bruce Carter, who isn't even on the team anymore. Same with Martellus Bennett. Demarcus Lawrence started to look solid last year, but he's going to miss 4 games. Same with Randy Gregory. I'm sorry, but I'd much rather stay put and have options to grab an elite player than guys who might not even be on the field for half the time because we're reaching for talent with some caveat in the later rounds.

They have real Oline issues, but they also have a good bit of 2016 money committed to RT Barksdale and LT Dunlap.
But locking up LT for a decade would be great for them.

Trade down, Ramsey, Tunsil, and even Buckner are all in play from what I've heard.
Jmo, but I assume in that order though.

The more I think about it, the more I think that we should just stick and take Ramsey or Tunsil. Ramsey will help us and before the whole argument starts, it should be at Safety and not CB. That move helps us with Cap and that's going to be increasingly important in the future. If Ramsey is gone, then we should take Tunsil and just make the decision that we probably let FredBeard walk. Good Centers are hard to find but, it's a position that you can pretty much always draft the best one with a low 1st or high 2nd round pick so it's going to be easier to fill then other positions.

Unless somebody comes in a really knocks our socks off with a trade offer, I think we take the best player on the board and it can be argued that either Ramsey or Tunsil, one, is the best player in the draft this year.

I'm good with that.

If the Titans are going to low ball us, I keep the pick as well

I really hope we're on the other side of the trade this year. Seems like when we trade back, we don't get much in return. But when we trade up, we give up a lot more than we should have. I'd love to see us take a handful of a team's draft picks.
