It just depends on how they are rated. If you've got 5 packed in tight and you don't love one over the others, I'm all for moving down.

If you've got a guy you love and move down then you're gambling big time.

Don't like all this trade down talk. why pass up a superior player for an inferior one? Carimi and Castonzo may be solid pros but Tyron Smith has all pro potential. Reminds me a lot of the Steven Jackson- Julius Jones debacle.

Because I think even the Cowboys would have trouble justifying to themselves using the 9th pick on a Right Tackle only if they refuse to move Free in a couple years.

I was just commenting on their draft style. They are not against trading back and piling picks. They do this atleast once most years. They have a successful franchise that consistently makes post season. That is all that i was alluding to.

I know they do, and as I said, I think they're blowing it as much as they are helping themselves.

i used to be in love with the idea of drafting Tyron Smith but i'm really starting to lean toward trading down and getting extra picks. Maximize the number of early picks you can get in 1-3.
