I really hope so, truly.

What he did to New England in the Super Bowl was amazing. That said, a high ankle sprain can be really, really tricky. People speak of him playing 80% or so, but the truth is high ankle sprains can get worse if they do not heal properly. That is to say, 80% could turn into 0% if he twists it again on a cut. Wade knows this, so he may hold back.

My guess is that he comes back for the Super Bowl. Until then, I think Romo shows the world that he is not a one hit wonder AND Marion Barber totes the rock like a champion.

(I admit, TO is an elite, once-in-a-lifetime athlete, so I could very well be wrong.)

If you prepare yourself to think that the Cowboys will lose without TO, you might start to "Insure" yourself and go negative.

You can win without TO and get to the big game and win the big game. (I know many on this board do not like people to mention the evil team from Philly, but they got to the big game after a TO injury.)

My wife is from Wisconsin. I'm a consultant, she's a physician (not a shrink (-;)

As much as I'd love to go back to Western Massachusetts (where nobody has an accent), this placid state my home.

From here, I have a great, great view of the NFC's second best team, the Packers, especially since my wife's family has season tickets. I can tell you with high confidence that the last time you played them was NOT A FLUKE. You have the better team.

I agree that spygate was a huge stain on the Patriots. I gave me a sick feeling, still does.

To Bill's (evil?) credit, he turned the whole thing around to be motivation for the club. He created a "bunker mentality" that pits the team against everyone in the NFL. The fans have bought into that hook, line and sinker.

If you are a Patriot opponent, the worst thing you can say pre-game (besides a guarantee) is that the Patriots are cheaters. It may be true that they were, but rubbing it in their faces just fires them up.

I've always liked the Cowboys, especially their fan base, which is usually supremely well-informed and spirited.

Right now your team is getting stoked to win the whole ball of wax. If they see their fans start to wilt, a bit of doubt may start to creep into their minds.

DON'T LET THAT HAPPEN.

This is exactly what BOSTON RED SOX fans had to deal with for so many years: A fan base that had no hope and it brought the whole franchise -- nay, the whole city -- down. This did not stop until the country rallied behind the Patriots in 2002. The Pats won the Super Bowl, the whole Boston sports scene changed dramatically. Our fans and teams gained confidence and now the Sox are two-time champions. Make no mistake: The Patriots were responsible for that as much as Curt Shilling.

If you think and act as if a December swoon is inevitable, then it will happen. If you boo Romo after his first mistake, will that ensure he does not make another?

Call up the local radio shows! Tell them that you know this team is great, you know that they have what it takes to win the Super Bowl!!!! Treat them as you would your own family. Give them the confidence they need to succeed.

I'd love to see the Patriots and the Cowboys in the Super Bowl. More than that, I don't want to see one of the greatest franchises in the history of the NFL implode because their fans lost focus.

So our late season collapse this year will be MY FAULT????? :bomb: :eyepoke:
