Don't like some aspects of this defense

What are you talking about? We are holding teams under 17 points a game this season with a offense that has been so far subpar. Yes we need to tighten up the run defense, but when you hold Goff, Stafford, and Burrow to less than 20 points it says we are doing just fine.

Agreed. Defense looks good but this game would have been much tighter if they didn’t fumble literally one yard away from the end zone. They shot themselves in the foot more than we did today. That’s all the game showed me today. Both teams played horribly.

They won't trade for anyone and yes the Quinn scheme can be beat with the TE in space.

As you state, the run defense needs work to be sure.

Also Brown was playing softer than a roll of Charmin bath tissues.....10-20 yards back and then back pedaling at the snap. And his tackling was horrendous.

Only has 1 game where they gave up 20 points ... and that is when our offense turned it over 3 times.

They are not perfect, not by any means, but they kept the 3rd highest scoring offense to just 6 points. I will NEVER complain about that.

Sam Williams is a DE. Although Parsons and Williams are probably better suited as 3-4 pass rushing outside line backers.

As of today, this defense is allowing LESS than 15 PPG, and creating turnovers like crazy. A bend-but-not-break outfit that doesn't give up a lot of big plays. Man, there are a lot of things that might be tweaked in this organization; the defense wouldn't be the first place I'd look.
