Don't Overreact

I don't want to hear this Giants are so good crap.

They aren't.

KC is just that bad at times.

All of NYs scores came off of numerous missed tackles.

Couldn't agree more. Time after time after time again, the KC defenders had him contained, but somehow over-ran their play.

Did you guys see the hold on the Johnson TD where Strahan was turned? The refs missed calls for both sides.

The Gints got (alot)more favorable calls though.

But doesn't matter either way-the Cowboys had a goldmine of opportunities this year but dropped the ball. The Gints cashed in on all of their's. They deserve it more.

They are hot right now- and that is critical at this time of year. We had our chances and blew it; what is worse is that they have as many injuries on the O line as we did and they STILL run block better.

It makes no difference. New York wins the division (no...I don't want to hear anymore "maybe" crap...). We are fighting for our lives just to win a wildcard spot, and somehow, I think we'll blow that, too.
And, even if we don't, it will be one dance out on the floor and an early exit to the parking lot.

Next year, Eli Manning will continue to improve....and Drew Bledsoe won't......Parcells will be on the last year of his contract, his house will be finished,.........and so will we.

(just down right now....)

Pretty grim view of things but man why do I have such a hard time disagreeing with it...

What a crock. Several of the Giants players are over 30 as well- when do they start to decline. Strahan is due to start; Tiki could start as well- you never know with RB's- especially given how much he has carried the ball this year. They have some problems with chronic injuries on the O line as well. Manning has not really shown all that much- and has been mentione he is JUST NOT THAT ACCURATE. IF we get the O line sorted out this offseason and it plays well next year, Bledsoe is still the better QB. Our D will be better with more experience. ALL in all we are the better team, and will be next year as well. We have NOT PLAYED like the better team enough this year.

I have to wonder if some of you guys are going to be saying the 'Giants aren't any good' jargon right up until they win the division.

They're in first place - they're good.

Get over it.

Are they the Colts? No.

But they're in first place after 14 games - that didn't happen by accident.

Once again, Vermeil probably cried.

If Vermeil doesn't retire this year, he will next year IMO.

I think some of it is left over from the bold offseason predictions around here that the Giants were going to stink.

The Giants had a decent offseason, have a good group of core players at key positions, and have a solid coach. It shouldn't be a surprise that they are a good team and that they have played well so far.

The Commanders on the other hand did surprise me....
