Now with all this new found love from the media, can the Cowboys continue to battle and defy odds?
This will be the true test. If this team plays like it has the past 3 weeks, we beat Detroit.
Stay hungry my friends.

Ty for keeping things in perspective. Many aren't . The media loves to build us up in order to tear us down. Stay honed in guys. We don't play these games on paper. Teams have pride just like we do. Especially Detroit coached by their beloved HC. I expect a yeoman's effort from them. We better match it.

It’s all in front of them. Huge task to run the table and win out.

Sets up for some entertaining football down the stretch.

If they win the division, it will be an epic year. If they falter, then 2026-2027 are setting up as a legit window to contend, and there are still some reasons things are looking up

Agreed. Anything we accomplish this year is gravy. We playing with house money currently. I never expected an instant turnaround after those trades. That's usually not how things go in the NFL. It shows us we had a plan on how to use them. That's great coaching. We hit the ground running when Wilson and Q got here.

I think about where they were a month ago compared to today. I was hopeful they would go 3-2 after the Raiders game and here they are at 2-0 so far in that stretch. I had no thoughts about playoffs and now they are in the hunt.

The biggest thing for me was to see an improving team that could step into the 2026 and compete from the jump. Mission accomplished!

I’m eating so much cheese right now, I won’t be using the bathroom for weeks.

It also shows Jerry, the front office and coaching staff were proactive (instead of reactive) for quite some time on deciding what moves to make since creating a plan on how to use such trades takes time.

Going to be a tall task going to Detroit and winning. But they can do it if they play their game.

This will be the hardest game left in the season. If the Cowboys win (after beating Philly and KC) it's hard seeing them lose another game.

Yep, my feelings as well.
Nice summary.

My cheese is improvement from week to week with this new defensive roster as well as improvement in disciplined, smart football.

Right now we're ranked 26th in turnover ratio and 30th in penalty yards.

There's alot to be cleaned up and just these two items alone are the type of things that stop a franchise from ultimate success

I thought the Eagles game was the real test? And then it was the KC game that was the real test? WTH?
Every game is a test, Rocky. That's why they play them and keep a tally. That's why the teams that pass the most tests play additional games after the regular games. That's why they have the final super test.

I thought you were a real fan?

They were both huge accomplishments. No one is taking that away from them. What I’m saying is it’s easier to get up for these games when no one believes you can. we’ve seen Cowboys teams in the past implode when the media world loves them. All I’m saying is as long as they keep that chip on their shoulder and keep doing what they’ve been doing. Things will work out.

It's a great point! We've seem to have climbed out the hole. GREAT!

But can we stay out of it? The NEXT challenged needs accepted and won.

If you told me in August that I could choose between a season like 21-23 or a season like this, I'd take this season every time.

Cruising through the regular season only to get humiliated early in the PO's vs early humiliation followed by a rising from the ashes with a chance to make something happen.

We're looking at five playoff games before the playoffs start. If they fall short, we still end up in the same place we did in 21-23.

Don't let him get to you. You are a good fan.
