I hope we don't cut Folk because if we do we I'm sure the Skins will target him... right now they have Suisham as their kicker...

I think Folk might stay, especially on account of his draft status, one kicker i bet ends up as a kick off specialist while the other nails the game winners.

suisham has actually been very solid since he's been with the skins.

He was good for Dallas for a short period of time, strong leg but then he hit a funk and went all Vanderjagt.

I think they'll be interested in either of our Ks if we cut one.
I imagine alot of teams will, the plus of cutting Grammatica if you had to would be Folk is about 10 years younger and could be around for seemingly forever if he keeps it up, like Rapheal Stephenstein.

Can we sneak Matt Moore onto the practice squad and keep two QBs and make Stanbeck the emergency QB thus allowing us to keep two kickers...

Big question is do we want to take the risk of going with a rookie kicker in a year we're favored to get into the playoffs... what if Folk gets the job and then flames out... what then...

Two words, Len Elliot. (1992 SB season)

The solution is also two words, score touchdowns.:)

Suishams job is unchallenged and Washington and will remain that way unless he turns into Jose Cortez all of a sudden. Hes shown all the qualities a solid kicker has weather its clutch kicking, solid kickoffs or consistency.

When hasn't the little general been interested in getting ex-Cowboys lately?

He would probably re-hire Norv Turner had dallas hired him as offensive coordinator.

Excelent idea. Stanback is a QB. And I would love see him do some quarterbacking to see what he's got.

I think if we are going to use a WR as the emergency QB, we should probably use the WR who has been in the league for more than 6 months.

If we're going emergency QB as a WR then I'd assume it would be Crayton since he was the emergency QB last year. But, I honestly think Moore gets the #3 spot because I honestly don't think he slips through waivers. Although, I didn't see the game (was on vacation) but if he didn't play they could be trying to not let everyone see much of him so they can stash him on the practice squad.

Raphael Stephenstein was that Jewish kicker we had for so long, right?

I think Folk has a good chance at winning the job. I have nothing aginst Grammatica and think he has kicked well thus far but I think Folk has looked better and has the bigger leg. The knock on Folk was accuracy I think he is showing in camp and in games that he has made some correction to solve his accuracy problems. At this point I hope we don't use 2 roster spots for the kickers position.
