It seems like it wasn't that long ago that Jerry would get whoever he really wanted, and I know he wants Waters.

Maybe he does want him, but he doesn't want him enough to pay whatever the cost to get him. Seems a sensible approach to me.

Yeah, it's kind of hard to tell from here. We don't know what Waters wants, and we don't know what Jerry is offering, if indeed he has made an offer.

true, but how did that work out? He is a buffoon for the most part. Dumbest rich guy EVER....Cowboys are his toy and he has mismanaged them into the ground:both interior lines are tissue thin and ill prepared to last a whole NFL season.....no more than 8 wins this season and JG will be out soon after IMO
