Not obvious you do one at a time..no bone saw the FO list of priorities. You are guessing. The offseason is all the way up to the trade deadline. There was no rush to make DA first or last. every move the FO made the last 2 offseason has worked out.

I'll give you that I didn't see the Cowboy's list of priorities, but usually the most important things are done first. The Cowboys deal with Gregory fell through March 15th then they re-signed Armstrong March 17th. Not to say Armstrong still wasn't on the list of things they wanted to do but it's clear it was either a 2nd priority or became #1 priority after Gregory and Miller didn't work out. The fact the Cowboys were willing to pay Gregory 8 million more per season also speaks to prioritization and evaluation as well.

At the end of the day I applaud the front office backup plan, but also thank Randy for helping the deal fall through. As I said sometimes plan B works out better than plan A.

I think the bigger problem was they stopped using him in wide gaps. In 8 and 9 gaps, most NFL RT's struggled with his athleticism. We moved away from that. He can rush well from a 7 and 6 gap on the right side, but he doesnt finish as well as he does wide. Funny thing is, I think if they played in the left side he would have a couple more double digit sack years playing in the blind side. You really have to smoke your man on the right side to put the QB down
Lawrence is not a RDE type, he played there a few times in his career his run defense was good but his pass rush was average he does not have all the tools to be a good blindside rusher, very little bend, LT are more technically sound than most RT.

Insult to the #94 jersey.

I enjoyed watching him play, I thought he was a good player. I don't care about that number legacy crap. He could have burned the jersey on tv, and it would not have bothered me.

and why would they have??
Basham was close to being cut his little deal meant nothing. He was a bubble guy..lots of players under contract were traded or let go...

did the FO promise you a red phone private call or FaceTime?? lmao

LET ME BE CLEAR,

THEY DO NOT KEEP FANS IN THE LOOP OR TOP OF MIND WHEN MAKING DECSIONS OR MOVES.. you have a list one of those fake draft boards people show LMAO. give the poor theory's to yourself,. im not buying what you are SELLING.....
Lol! Just simple basic reasoning skills and math. Gregory signed on March 15th, Armstrong signed the 18th… 3 days later. If Gregory had signed they wouldn’t have had the cap to sign Armstrong. Keeping Gregory and resigning Gallup, was their plan to have a successful FA. When Gregory flipped over to the Bronco’s they used that cash for Armstrong, Vander Esch, Fowler etc! Not real hard to figure out if you were paying attention and can add 2+2. But hey, type in more all caps… that gave me a giggle!

Yup! 100% and easily determined using simple basic reasoning skills!

definition determined= guessing. You have zero clue on what lans thyey had just nby the order in which they handled it..
Nope, you are guessing the inner working and thoughts of person ie the FO and all its resources. You do NOT KNOW SQUAT

hes here moving on to important news

Gregorys not on our record setting sack pace..lol last year Gregory all pround of his 6 sack career high totals, dudes here have half that in 3 games.. RG=overrated and good riddance..his money is being better utilized.

bTW on that same from the overreaction to Von Millers game 1..whats he done since LMAO 6 new threads after game 1 opened on Jerry being stupid for not paying this aging vet 20mil per season..
hmm that ditn age well Millers great player but hes older and Key Point-we did not need him at that cost.he turned down the same deal we ofred Gregory although he claimed hed take less, he lied fans overreact and now we sit here leading the league in sacks with one the best defenses in the NFL..

id say it worked out just fine.
