DA is having a nice year but if you’re only looking at the box score it’s misleading. He’s had a handful of mop up sacks.

Great rotational player and I’m glad we have him, but hopefully just a stop gap for Sammy.

I told everyone he had almost the exact same stats as Gregory with a higher motor, better attitude, and better off the field habits clearly. We made the right decision. I'm more disappointed that we even offered that piece of crap a contract. It's fitting that he went to denver.

In just these first 7 games of the 2022 season he's reached a career high in sacks and TFLs and is on pace to have more of both this season than the rest of his career combined and by a lot. He could reach that next week.

On pace for 14.5 sacks and 12 TFLs. Came into this season with 7.5 sacks and 6 TFLs over his career.

So all those that doubted him were wrong.

Learn from it. Go Cowboys.

You Risen was one of the main one on his behind, but have to acknowledge your eating crow in the zone.

we are pleasantly surprised he is playing well after getting an extension contract , instead of some others, LOL

Mop up stats…there is no such thing nor garbage stats.
What do you want him to do…oh we have a lead so I will allow you to run free instead of sacking you…because you know, the forums will say it is mop up or garbage stats…

The fact is that Parsons opens up everything for other pass rushers. He gets all the attention for the sake of their QB's survival.

Armstrong did basically nothing until last year, when he took a step forward. This year he's been excellent getting to the QB. A lot of it is him, but a big chunk is due to Parsons.

Quinn's scheme has been good for him. Doing a lot of cleanup work, but also taking advantage when he gets favorable matchups, like against a tight end.

One of the things I really liked about Sam Williams' game today is that he just straight up beat a tackle for both of his sacks. While Armstrong is a good rotational piece, having someone who can do what Williams did will make this defense even more tough to handle.
