He absolutely would not produce better than Williams in our offense, he's not even better than Butler. The Titans didn't trade him because they were desperate to get a swing tackle, they were desperate to get him off the team. Yes he is a huge talent, but when has he actually produced with that talent? He's worth the risk for the Eagles because they have no wide receivers and are a bad team. Dallas is actually playing for the division this year.

He actually did produce in his ONE season in limited time on a horrible offense

Dorial Beckham = lazy man's Megatron.
6'5 237lbs. If he could ever get un lazy, then he'd be a monster.

Did you see DGB's from last year? That was with a rookie QB and scrubs he played with all of last year.

It's funny to me how soon people forget the immaturity of Dez Bryant and how it took him 2 and half years to mature off the field and produce heavily on it.

Also, DGB produced just like Dez did his rookie year. Actually, his yards per catch were 5 yards more than Dez. Oh, and he actually stayed healthy.

He really does have good measurables.

How about the Ryan Leaf (or maybe Jamarcus Russell) of WRs?

Besides the light years less work ethic than Calvin:
Way less smart
Way worse routes
Worse hands
Much slower 40 time
Lower vertical too

I still see this as a steal for Eagles. Maybe he is about to be suspended?

Seems like both teams got what they wanted.
He was getting cut by Tennesee, so they managed to add valuable Oline depth.
Philly needs WR help....they lost a guy who was going to make their team but rolled the dice on a player that could find new life and upside in a new setting.

So...Dez Bryant?

Before 2012

- Questions about his intelligence and maturity
- Questions if he's a me player or team player
- Runs poor routes
- Takes plays off in the second half.
- Loses interest if he's not involved early in games
- Off the field issues

So, all of this is a "Cut DGB, he's a bum!" but when Dez had those same problems his first couple years, it's a waiting game for when it "clicks". Also, this is not me saying DGB will ever be a Dez Bryant, I just find it hilarious the short-term memory loss people have on this forum.

You left off by FAR #1

WORK ETHIC

They are in complete different galaxies in that all important category

You won't hear me say DGB can't make it though.
I mean, the upside--however unlikely it is to reached--is clear
I understand why Philly grabbed him.

The stuff going around right now is all speculation. Here is a write up on the coach saying he spends a lot of time in the film room. I'm also trying to find the link where the coach even said he showed up to camp in shape, so I'm not entirely sure where the "overweight" stuff came from. Even then, I want to know is this 10 pounds overweight or is this Tony Romo "out of shape" where he shows up to camp one pound over?

There is a ton of spinning right now to make it seem like the Titans actually know what the hell they are doing. It's a **** franchise and they'll be a 4-11/6-10 teams somehow, once again. Most of the controversial comments are coming from their GM, who sucks.

Just curious why the extreme interest and support.
Did you go to the same college or HS as he did? Or maybe you were a fan of his college team anyway?

No support, I just notice the spinning the media is doing. I also don't like the Titans GM, at all. He's also with Philly now, and I kinda like to know our opponents since we may be facing a future monster. I'm actually hoping the Wentz to Green-Beckham never becomes a thing.

The Titan have to see some major problem in him, right or wrong, to ditch a high 2nd round pick in training camp of his second year for a swing tackle. Maybe the Titans are messed up and didn't know what they're doing. Maybe the Titans are right and they ditched someone who has major issues.

DGB has legitimate character questions. Dez seemed to have mostly maturity issues. Maybe DGB gets everything on right and hits his ceiling. More likely he never reaches his ceiling because few players ever do.

So the Titans trade a WR after having spent a 2nd on him?
And the Eagles trade a OL after having their starting RT get suspended for 10 games?

Are we sure Chip still isn't working for them?

Dennis Kelley is total garbage. He's a human turnstile, except worse!
