For the Eagles, you trade a garbage swing tackle for a young 2nd year WR that has all the physical tools to be a good WR in this league.
Guess we'll see.
So far, DGB has flat out sucked while the "garbage tackle" has actually started a few games.
You are projecting 2015 pre-draft hype into this.

Maybe he turns it around.....
but he was done in Tenn. and no good to them.

So the Titans trade a WR after having spent a 2nd on him?
And the Eagles trade a OL after having their starting RT get suspended for 10 games?

Are we sure Chip still isn't working for them?
Roseman has always been a horrible GM

JJ Wilcox has started a fair share of games it doesn't make him good in any fashion. DGB was a rookie WR and with his pre-draft hype and his physical tools they could have a steal of a trade.

I believe the saw what Dez did Saturday night and thought a big, physical receiver could help out their QBs

He has a lot of baggage. Read his bio. And, Eagles fans talk about the character of players the Cowboys have.

With the baggage that came with Dez, can we really talk? Unless he's breaking laws off the field, Eagles got a damn good trade. This guy has a high ceiling. ****, I would have considered giving up Leary for DGB.

His stats last year

32 catches, 549 yards receiving, 17.2 average, and 4 TDs

This is a player that was considered a raw player in the second round with a high ceiling. He played with a couple different QBs like year due to Marcus getting injured. DGB hasn't "flat out sucked", he supposedly hasn't matured and the trash Titans GM wanted him gone. Sounds familiar, doesn't it? Let's look at Dez's rookie year.

45 catches, 561 yards receiving, 12.5 yards a catch, 6 TDs

He also had off the field issues, maturity was a problem for at least 3 years in the league. Eagles got a great trade here and I don't even want to think about Carr lining up next to DGB.

And what's funny here? Leary has looked lazy, he doesn't want to be here. We are losing Williams and he is likely to not be resigned. Behind him, we have a slot receiver, a returner, and scrubs.

Yeah, it would have been a good trade in my eyes. Try to make an argument next time.

I do think DGB has raw talent. Maybe he'll turn it around.

Trading Leary for him seems beyond crazy. Trade someone you might cut, like Philly did.

Honestly not sure DGB even makes our team. He sure wasn't going to make the Titans'

Again, maybe a change of venue does him well.

Ok here's an argument. This guy was about 6th or 7th on their depth chart and got beat out by a rookie. Tennessee has no faith in him because he's lazy and doesn't work on his game. Does anyone remember Christine Michael? 2nd round high prospect pick for a 5th rounder? Didn't work in Dallas because surprise surprise his character concerns transferred over.

These people are on the trade block for a reason

When the starting receivers on your team are ...

Rishard Matthews
Tajee Sharpe
Kendall Wright
Harry Douglas
Andre Johnson

And your traded a year after you were a 2nd round pick?? Enough said. Let's not act like this guy was traded from Green Bay, Arizona or Pittsburgh.
