Gisele Bundchen Enjoys Brady’s Off Week

gisele-tom-date-hold-hands.jpg

While Jessica Simpson is vacationing with her quarterback boyfriend Tony Romo in Mexico during his off week, Gisele Bundchen and her MVP boyfriend have decided to brave the cold in New York City.
Gisele and New England Patriot quarterback Tom Brady were spotted all over the Big Apple on Saturday, first out to lunch, followed by some errands and capped off by a dinner outing.
And while Tom’s sites are currently set on winning the championship trophy, tabloid rumors tell that he has some big plans in the relationship department, as well. According to the never reliable yet always interesting National Enquirer, “Brady has promised to give his girlfriend Gisele Bundchen an engagement ring if he wins a Super Bowl ring.”
The piece goes on to tell that Tom was “highly impressed with how she dealt with his ex-girlfriend Bridget Moynahan’s pregnancy shortly after they started dating.”
In response, a Boston Herald source suggests that “you shouldn’t believe a word of it, that Brady isn’t ready to get married.”

Enjoy the pictures of Gisele and Tom out in NYC (January 5).

the difference is that brady has 3 rings and Romo has an 0-1 post season record. brady has been there done that while Romo hasn't. oh and brady's girl has one ugly face for a "super model"

Was a new thread about this necessary?

I think it was already covered. Brady has 3 SB trophies. He's proven himself in the postseason.

I think it's only fair that we include Eli Manning in this.

Please. Tom Brady has won superbowls and just had the greatest single season in the history of QBs.

There is no double standard.

Theres times when the media bias is appropriate to call out. This isn't one of them.

Romo knows he put himself in this situation -- he would be stupid to not understand the press this would generate.

If Romo doesn't perform well on Sunday, he's going to face some serious backlash and it will be justified.

Tony hasn't proven that he can handle such a distraction right before the playoffs. What's wrong with waiting until after the post season to go on that kind of vacation.

I don't think it is a big deal that Romo left town and for those who have a problem with it well that is their problem. The organization has no problem with it why should anyone else? As for a double standard only one that exsist in Brady having 3 rings will allow him more leeway than Romo.

Agreed.

But would it really be justified?

:D Besides, does Brady even look like he is noticing his girl? She's probably just something that hangs off his arm to him.

:D It's part of the Dallas culture to have a problem with it. We still remember how the team of the 90's over partied, and couldn't handle that kind of lifestyle. We still remember Mark Tuinei ODing after a party. So of course people from Dallas are going to jump all over this, if there is any sign of those days coming back.

Justified or not, it will dog him.

I don't think there is a problem with guys taking some time off -- but he's got to be smart enough to lay low. Otherwise the story becomes an issue for his teammates.

She’s too skinny, not enough curves.

I can't believe that the amazing Giselle Bunchen is getting slammed here

Why? Because he took some time off that his coach was OK with? I still don't understand why everyone has gotten their panties in a bunch over this! There wasn't any practice, film to review, or an opponent to get prepared for.

No, it won't be justified. It will be ridiculous!

Amazing, "smart enough to lay low".

Should he just invite Jessica over and hold out at his house for 2 1/2 days. Heaven forbid he take a 2 day trip to Mexico with his best friend and girlfriend.
