Another shot...Wow maybe after the first time it would be funny. Not so much.

I just thought of the perfect job for you.

In what way? It says he was bull rushed into the QB causing Kitna's follow through to hit Free. That's what happened.

You could argue he was rushed, but it's a close call. When he started his throw he had space, by the time he finished Free was pushed back into him. The throw had good timing for Austin as he was wide open between the zones, it was just overthrown. A shorter throw would have hit him in stride.

I think everyone, even the OP, agrees that it was a bad play by Free, so I'm not sure what you're getting at.

Amen

All he has to do is get stronger. He'll spend more time in the weight room to remedy that, Im absolutely comfortable with his play.

the follow through is big though, that's why it sailed because he didn't follow through

How does Free measure up to Flo in his prime? Hard to say really because we haven't seen him go against top tier pass rushers right? So why are we breaking out the anointing oil???:confused:

I don't see anointing oil, more like cautious optimism.

It would be nice to hit on a offensive linemen for a change.

Free had another good game. I'm not worried one bit about the guy having to start and I think he prevents us from having to spend a high pick on a LT next year.

Perhaps I read to much into this statement.

I hear that but sadly at this juncture I'm not feeling as optimistic. I do however believe that another full season in the weight room increases his odds of panning out.

Perhaps. Cuz he didn't say that the team wouldn't need to draft one, but possibly not use a high pick to get one if Free continues to show progress.

It's all speculative at this point, but I think we can see that this guy is showing more progress than any other drafted lineman to date.

If all folks can find is one play to cross swords about then I prefer to go forward with optimism.
