Oh man, now it's Kitna's fault? Are you related to Doug Free or something? Perhaps the president of his one-man fan club? Because that's the only way any of this makes sense. Free advice: in the future, try to react more calmly, humbly and rationally with dissent.
Well, yes the high throw was Kitna's fault. But, hitting his hand on Free's helmet was Free's fault, not Kitna's. I am giving that as proof the Kitna was not rushed into his throw, if Kitna was not ready to throw the football, he had plenty of room to step aside and avoid Free to give Austin more time.
As for if Austin was open or not, it is NOT irrelevant. If you knew anything about football you would know that as soon as the WR is open you get him the ball. If a 9 route is called, and the guy gets open after 15 yards, you don't hold it till he is 40+ yards down the field to throw it anyway, you throw the ball as soon as he is open.
How to judge if a pass was rushed or on time:
Was the WR open - Check
Was the WR in a position to be expecting the football - Check
Did the QB have room to step into his throw - Check
Then the ball was thrown when it was SUPPOSED to be thrown, thus it could NOT be rushed.
If you want to argue, that Free caused the ball to come out high, I would disagree, but you DO at least have a valid point to argue there. But to argue that the throw was rushed, there you are arguing AGAINST the facts.
Free advice for you:
It is better to keep your mouth shut, and let people THINK you are an idiot, than to open you mouth, and leave no doubt.
