He might be the placeholder with the team planning to draft a starter. But it's unknown what you will get in the draft. I'm hoping we at least bring in some cheap FA competition, but who knows, maybe they feel they can wait until after the draft for that if it's needed.

running back by committee is what this year is. A rookie,Dowdle and whomever else we rotate in. All I can say is, the rb we draft better be ready for a huge role or we will be awful. I still think Ray Davis can be a bellcow for us if we draft him. He does everything well. A great run game can mask many holes on defense. Im fairly sure thats what Jerry is banking on. Seems really foolish.
