Oh right, it was Duke crashing and burning. They came within a whisker of losing to Michigan last week.

And the loud squeeky noise was Nolan Smith puckering up with missed foul shots, missed layups and turnovers. Fun to watch.

I like Singlar, the Plumlee's, Irving, Curry, ... but there is something about the cocky Nolan Smith that rubs me the wrong way.

Good game Arizona. Derrick Williams is a beast. I hope he single-handedly throttles UConn the way he did Duke. 5 of 6 in the first half from three for someone who is that strong down low? Ridiculous.

Haha I dont know who i told, but i remember telling someone that Duke wasn't going to make the Elite 8, and Kanas wasn't going to make the final 4. They didn't believe me, I said watch..

That's how I read it after reading the OP, but the title did sound like it was about Duke.

In any case, congrats 'Zona.

Of course it doesn't bother me to see the Devils lose either...if for any other reason than that I don't want them cutting into UNC's lead over them in NCAA Titles and Final Fours.

I am still giddy from last night. I had SDSU in that bracket and I had Duke beating AZ. So I am dead in my pool because I already lost Pittsburgh, but I will take an AZ win to keep going over any other scenario anyway.

I am proud of my Cats. That 2nd half was magical.

If we can beat Duke, we can beat any team left in the tourney. People hate Duke. Hell I hate Duke. But I respect them too. They are always one of the very best basketball teams in the country.

Derrick Williams is the player of the tournament so far IMO. Blocked shots to end the first 2 games and then that performance last night. His one handed rebound tomahawk dunk was unreal, and then to shoot like that from behind the line.

Jimmer Fredette had the most pub, but Derrick Williams is the most unique player in the dance.
