Come on, Bob. Don't gaslight. You know that every season is going to fail if Jerry doesn't hire a professional GM. We don't need any larger of a sample size than the last 30 years.

I understand that you are trying to be fair and a good guy, but you know the real truth and bringing up "just one game" cliches is a needless distraction from the truth.

I have made it crystal clear for a very long time what I think about this owner and his entitled son. Those two and their lack of skill as football roster builders is THE biggest problem this team faces. Every year.

But brother neither you, me or anyone else here knows exactly how this season will go. I picked this team to go 10-7. That’s just what I thought about a week ago. But I think I’m honest enough to say, I don’t know what this team will be.

I do know why we haven’t done anything in 3 decades. I’ve been crystal clear about that. But gaslighting?

Before Sunday, everyone was buying the cheese, thinking superbowl. Now since the game. People realizing. It’s new players, new coaches and they are willing except this season will not even end in the playoffs. Even Jerry said yesterday that , he is not expecting much from this team. So my question is.
Where did your high expectations come from? What happened to them? Don’t blame Jerry he did not hype this team this year. Discussions?

I did not say that. Week 1, a lot of football left to be played.
This team is not as bad as they looked. But many fans seem to be happy about it.

I wouldn’t say happy about it. No true Cowboy fan is happy to lose. But it supports many of the concerns fans had who pushed back on all of the talk about our defense was fixed , Parker was the answer. etc .

And this was definitely a playoff team and maybe more. Over hype at least for now .

While those who pushed back were in more of a wait and see mode.

I’d argue at least out of the gate that some may have got it all wrong. And that’s a big part of discussions and arguments in a fan forum. Who has better insights and instincts.

Heck, it was even pointed out how the improvement of the defense alone made my 7 wins opinion so illogical by one or 2 select know it alls here.

Just "maybe" these new defensive faces arent quite as good as the Zone armchair GMs thought. Regardless of scheme or new DC.

Absolutely false, only a select few were buying the cheese. Less than 5 minutes browsing threads would have provided you with your list of suspects.

I will give you a little help.... see the posts from members saying things like 'chill out', 'shut up', and 'it's just one game'? Those might be some of your suspects.
