Our dbs are in trouble. Zion looked the part. Why cut him after a great camp? Are these dbs that much better? Lol Seems like we taking steps backward.

How do you know he has no back issue?

If he had a new deal he could risk playing somewhat injured. I wouldn't play with a back injury that could get far worse and cost me hundreds of millions.

Incredible you guys think leadership means he shouldn't demand to be paid his value, like every other elite player does on every other team. Their teams just sign them or move on way in advance, not this ridiculous game Jerry is playing.
A lot of the posters here suffer from "I had to walk to school and back home when I was a kid and it was uphill both ways" syndrome.

Oh boy.......I'm confused
IF a 2nd opinion proves your back needs more time but the Cowboys' medical team clears you.....doesn't that impact your contract value? This is getting weird, with a capital W (lol)

The miracle cure is the new contract, if Jerry agrees , Micah will be cured overnight. I lost all respect for the guy

Poor Micah, I hope his little back heals soon. I'm sure he is hurting like hell. I mean, I bet he can hardly walk his back is so hurt. And I bet he hurt it hunching over his little plastic mic doing his podcast to his girly fans.

I hope he is taking some Tylenol and momma is giving him some warm milk and some cookies. Poor thing, I feel sorry for him.
Puke!

He should be LB but they play him 90+% at DE so that is why he gets paid like a DE.

If he is not injured that contract forces him to play ball this year or forfeit his weekly salary for every game that he misses.
What team wants a player on the field under these circumstances? If Micah ends up agreeing to play then that’s what the Cowboys will get. A guy that eventually agreed to play.

Jerry does not care one way or the other. He thinks this is what GMs do.

It will be interesting to see if opinions change if he doesn't play in PHI and they curb stomp us.

While I really don't care which side wins this battle, if you're Jerry Jones, that is awesome news!

I think this was a mistake by Parsons' agent.

Parson and his agent are so focused on getting paid this year without playing that they just gifted Jerry with a reason to justify not offering him a new contract at this time.

They just publicly announced Parsons has back issues that may linger so Jerry can use that now to justify not offering him a long term contract since he's already under contract for this year.

A pass rush specialist who's only 26 years old and already suffering back issues is a red flag for a large, long term contract.

According to "sources" (which I highly doubt are true) the Packers are supposedly willing to give Dallas two 1sts, a 2nd, and a 5th round pick for Micah.

But take that with a grain of salt.
Let's say this is accurate.

We trade Micah this year and get nothing this year.

We get a 1st in 2026(which is a year late
or considered a 2nd, and it will be at the bottom of the draft - so basically equivalent to an early 3rd in real team of the trade.

Same scenario for all other 2026 picks and add another year for all 2027 picks.

All of those picks values drop, as soon as you add Micah to their roster.

There is no trade package I would accept this season, to give up Micah, and receive nothing this year. NADA, Zilch.

That trade package after the season, I might consider, after comparing them to 30 other teams.

Hes not a grown man. He's a child playing pretend, hoping someone will feel sorry for him. We can't get rid of bad rubbish fast enough. He's tiresome.
